Nice little fast food spot tucked away behind other restaurants. The poutine is a French Canadian specialty that I had to try. It was pretty much what I expected, it came out nice and hot just the way I like it. The gravy and fries were good and was a good addition to the sausage. The only complaint was the cheese curds they were kinda squeaky while chewing. Overall the meal was good and I’ll try it again if I’m back in the area.

Surprisingly not too bad! Read a few reviews that suggested Chez AshTon for Poutine. When we arrived, we didn’t realize it was a fast-food joint, but thats OK. The poutine was actually pretty delish! The curds were most certainly squeaky(prime poutine component) and they were actually really quite big, which I am a fan of! We also got some sort of hotdog bun that had spicy ground beef and onions in it– it was also pretty good. We came here after a long drive and for a lite-bite. We returned that very night for a drunken poutine lol… it was open quite late which is also pretty awesome. Don’t let the medicore reviews fool you– try it for yourself :)

Burger Ashton here was really good. The ground beef was really something that you would never forget. The beef was so tasty, its like a top quality beef. The slice cheddar and crisp lettuce will make it more perfect. Although they have this a little slow service, I think I can wait if theire burgers where this good.

How dare the Québécois, or anyone for that matter, think that this could be good… nay…the best poutine they’ve ever had! This eatery relatively comparable to a high school cafeteria luncheon, with humongous cheese curds stuck together and cheeseburgers mysteriously reminiscent of bus station vending machine microwave cheeseburgers. And for a poutine, cheeseburger, fries and small soda…$ 22? Really? So disappointed I can’t even concoct a well composed and informative write-up. Just avoid like the plague and venture out of the tourist area is all I can say.

We were directed here from the Citadelle cause we wanted to try Quebec cities take on Poutine. This is a fast food chain so you have your burger and hot dog options as well as your poutine which is what we came here to try. We had a standard poutine and a poutine with sausage and hot sauce. The poutine was ok but we have definitely had better and the cheese curds were very squeaky almost liking having a mouse in your mouth but service was reasonably quick and typical fast food prices so not much to complain about.
