It’s a friendly dive bar. Understaffed, but with surprisingly delicious food. The lightly fried perch was incredibly juicy and delicious. The crab cakes were also very well done. Lots of seating and great water views.

Of the handful of joints on Pelee, this became a quick favorite. Sure, it’s extremely rustic and they ran out of things like potatoes and perch for a couple days when the ferry wasn’t running, but the food they had when they had it was made with care (particularly the homemade poutine gravy!). Go more than once and they’re likely to remember you. Very nice people in a fun location. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating options, including some with nice water views.
