I just came back from an excellent meal at Robbie’s. First of all, the ambiance and décor are more upscale than what you would expect from a family restaurant. We were greeted by a nice and professional hostess. The servers were absolutely fantastic! They were polite, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu and the various options. I ordered the filet of sole with french fries. The sole was divine. It had a delicious lemon-butter sauce and was cooked to perfection. And the chocolate mousse cake was decadent. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try for a pleasant family dining experience!

I went for a colleague’s farewell lunch and was pleased with the atmosphere. I found it modern and the servers were very attentive. It’s a little on the dark side, but had a similar feel to Moxie’s as far as ambiance goes. The buns they serve while you’re waiting for your meal are delicious. I cheated and had one knowing there might be consequences later! I order the past primavera with gluten-free noodles. It was well presented, but the veggies looked like they came from a frozen bag of veggies. The pasta was slightly over cooked, but I have the feeling that the cooks are used to making regular pasta. Overall, the experience was pleasant, however I could have cooked up a more satisfying meal at home.

Over priced for what you get. Food is nothing special. Went once and won’t go back again.

The food is so gross here. We went with some family members that wanted to go and I had a taste of what everyone ordered… the bruchetta was weird and not very tasty, the Caesar salad tasted like it was out of a bottle and the salad was wilted. Parmigiana was bland and the Chicken Marsala tasted like it was made with Aunt Jemima syrup. The only edible thing was the manicotti, which still wasn’t fantastic. The place was packed… I don’t understand? With all the great Italian restaurants we have in this city, why is Robbies still in business? And it’s not like the prices are way cheaper or anything. Don’t go here, you’ll be disappointed.
