This shop is pretty close to us and usually our first stop for house job things — a lot smaller than the big DIY stores but they usually have the things you need and the staff are really friendly and helpful and know exactly what you need and take you straight to it. Reasonable prices and it’s one of those shops you will find random things that you don’t know where to go for. (We moved from England and seemed to struggle finding things like weighing scales for baking but they had them here) other odd job bits and pieces too as well as the usual hardware store stuff

This is my local hardware store, and my preferred first stop for all things home and garden. It’s always well staffed with friendly and knowledgeable people and the selection is incredible for such a small store. When I requested a product they don’t normally stock, they ordered it for me.
I would much rather shop here than at a large home-garden-appliance-kitchen store, where the staff often lack product knowledge (if you can find them at all).
