S.R.A. Glass

My car’s window got chipped while I was driving behind a truck. I was very upset and called SRA. The owner was very nice and asked me to bring in my car right away. He fixed my window in less than 30 minutes. I highly recommend SRA auto glass.

My family and I had just purchased a $ 55k Audi Q5 and within 4 days of owning this amazing vehicle we get a massive stone chip in the windshield from a gravel truck on the highway.
Well my 1^st instinct (after wanting to cry) was to search for the usual well known glass repair shops that I am sure everyone has heard of, thinking that those would be the only shops I would trust with my brand new Audi. But then I remembered that the last time I used one of these shops I was not happy with the result (they said that they repaired the crack but somehow it looked exactly the same). I decided to search for a smaller shop that was close by to my house. This was a bit of a gamble but I decided on S.R.A which incidentally had 2 good reviews which made me feel a little more confident.
Truthfully, when I 1^st pulled into the shop I had reservations about my decision. The shop is relatively small, definitely on the older side, and only had 1 employee. The employee, Sam, actually happens to be the owner. Once we started the process and he went into his office to call the insurance company, I went back on Unilocal and re-​read the reviews just to be certain I had the right place — almost ready to drive back out of the shop (just because of the nature of my vehicle). Thankfully I decided to trust Sam and we went forward with the claim. Let me tell you, am I ever glad I did.
Sam was absolutely amazing. Poor guy had to spend over an hour on the phone since my claim was rather a difficult one. I insisted that he replace the windshield with an OEM Audi windshield, since repairing the crack would still leave small crack lines on the glass. He had no qualms about doing that for me. Additionally, I had separate coverage with a private insurance company which meant that he had to deal with 2 insurance companies as well as Audi. To no fault of his own, the process took an hour, but he made sure that the claim was processed correctly and the right parts were ordered. He handled the situation very well. Once that was done we scheduled a day to bring my car in and I returned 2 days later.
I dropped my car off in the morning and returned in the afternoon to pick it up. I was very impressed with the quality of his work. The windshield was a genuine Audi windshield with the rain sensors installed correctly. The interior was vacuumed and the car looked better than when I dropped it off. I was very happy with my experience with S.R.A and with Sam. I would absolutely recommend this shop to everyone for any type of vehicle. Although I was reluctant at 1^st, I am very glad I took my Audi to this shop. Like the saying goes; never judge a book by its cover.

My poor car was broken into yesterday, welcome to Vancouver! After I was through with all the cussing and fussing, I got on Unilocal and started looking for a place to do the replacement.
Among the places I contacted for quotes was SRA. The owner quoted me significantly less than the other places, so my choice was made, and I was to drop my car off at 1:30.
We showed up a few minutes early, and after doing a few trips around the block to find parking (there’s a serious lack of space there, considering the need to provide space for vehicles) we pulled right into the bay off Espalande.
The owner is a man of few words, but I felt comfortable walking away, leaving my poor car in his hands. We were told to come back in two hours, not bad for a short notice call!
We came back to pick up my car, and lo and behold the window was perfect, plus, my car was COMPLETELY vacuumed, not just where the glass shards fell, but the entire thing! It’s never looked so clean! Two little clips that held my window in place, and he replaced those for me as well, only an extra $ 10 charge. I paid my bill, and that was that, after he helped stop traffic so I could safely back out of the bay into traffic!
All in all, a great place to go to after dealing with such a miserable situation, felt well taken care of, and appreciated! I hope I never have to get a window replaced again, but if I do, I will absolutely return to SRA Glass!

I phoned around to a dozen places and SRA offered the best estimate by far and friendliest reception to replace my windshield.
Work was done professionally and quicker than promised.
