Nic’s Garage

The only reason I might ever want to live in North Van, would be this shop! I got an oil change here a while ago and was impressed with 1) it was pretty fast, 2) it was cheap, 3) they didn’t try to sell me crap I didn’t ask for, 4) they were polite.
I know it’s just an oil change, but getting good service and not feeling like the mechanic is trying to rip you off actually means a lot. I’d go back!

This business appears to be closed. Paper covering the windows, website inaccessible, phone number is a Rogers wireless with no voicemail set up.

Great garage, great service. They’ve gone out of their way to over deliver on customer service and satisfaction on more than one occasion for me. Highly recommend this garage to anyone.

I have been using Nic’s garage for about 12 or so years now and they have always done a top job. When I lived in Aldergrove I would still travel all the way to them as they are thorough and honest people. I never worry when I leave my car at Nic’s! The communication and estimates are accurate and the mechanics there really know their stuff!

Great shop with helpful people. The woman at the front counter was friendly and explained what was wrong with my car and told me what it would cost for repairs. The mechanic showed me where the car needed repairs and was also very friendly and easy to deal with. The overall experience here was great. Sometimes I’ve found garages to be intimidating as I don’t know a lot about cars, I didn’t find that here. If I didn’t live in Vancouver I’d make this my regular repair shop.

Went in because of a blown fuse for my Matrix and received impeccable service. The mechanic had to get my part brought in, and even stayed after the shop was closed, and she did it all for free.
I truly appreciated her work and am going back to get my oil changed as the prices are really cheap and the service is amazing :)

Ripped off.
Was told I needed a new part after having to wait a day for an inspection. Was told that I could save a lot by getting a used part. Parts and labour still came to over $ 800. Just wanted to get the work done and get my car back…
The part crapped out just after a year, even though I was told I would never need to replace it again. Of course, I didn’t get that in writing. When I went back, the owner coldly told me to look at my paperwork which stated a one year warranty. There wasn’t any attempt made to provide any customer service. The conversation was over as far as she was concerned. One year warranty may be standard but then don’t tell me something else when you’re trying to get me to okay the work.
Went to a different shop just over the bridge and got the same job done for half the price and guess what? The work was well done.
Shame on me for believing Nic’s Garage and their «honest» advertising.
