I work really close by so I took my new-​to-​me car in to get some new tires put on. Barry asked me a few questions to determine what kind/​quality/​price of tires I was interested in, then called around to get some price comparisons, got me a good deal and booked me in for the next day. They moved the front tires to the back and installed the brand new tires on the front, all with great efficiency and friendly service.
When I went to pick up my car, I turned it on the and «check engine» light was flashing and the car was idling very roughly. This hadn’t been happening when I had brought the car in originally. I walked back into the office and told Barry, and he asked me to leave it there so they could inspect it. Turns out a coil needed to be replaced, so they did that and did not charge me for the service or the part. I wasn’t sure at the time whether it was just a weird coincidence or whether something else had occurred, but after they did the repair for free for me, I’m certain that it was just an odd coincidence (and actually lucky for me that it happened right when my car was at a garage!). So, my car will be visiting Barry’s regularly (but hopefully not *too* regularly) for any service from now on. They truly made me a customer for life!

WOW! So happy I got a second opinion.
Had an original estimate for a power steering issue that was going to cost nearly $ 840. Found Barry’s on Unilocal and drove in today to have them take a look. Luckily they were able to take my car in right away and Gary worked his magic. I walked out paying less than $ 150. Thanks guys, I will be a loyal customer from now on.

I had a check engine light problem this morning. Barry identified the code, reset it and told me i needed a new gas cap. he refused to take my money. what a great place!
