Kal Tire

My family (4 cars) has been going here for a few years. Service has gotten worse each year. I now understand why they always have unhappy customers yelling at the people working there. They charge unnecessarily and don’t complete what they say they will. MUCH better car shops for tires, etc on the north shore. Highly disappointed.

really good customer service. if you give them a call with enough notice you can plan appropriately to get your winter tires changed which they do for free if you have purchased them there. sweet! its done promptly and the location is such that you can walk across the street for a coffee or even grocery shop. also i must say that as a woman i feel comfortable taking my car there. they speak to me in the same way that i’ve seen them speak to my husband who is very confident when it comes to car stuff. none of this talking down business or me leaving feeling like i’ve been pressured into anything or overcharged. as long as we continue to live in north van i’ll be giving them my business. oh and once i had a tire repaired with them, i wasn’t charged. they thanked me for my continued business. most appreciated.

Had a tire patched here, cost 40 dollars. Service was decent enough not sure I will be back though.

This location is pretty busy. I popped in on a Saturday at 1:30pm and it was hopping in there. I’m a walking stereotype when it comes to cars (blonde, ignorant, young) and when my tire had a slow leak, I rolled in there thinking I’d get an appointment right away but I couldn’t leave my car for the day so I booked first thing Monday (8:30am) and they promised to have me out of there in 30 minutes. I got there on Monday morning, they took my car right away and, as promised, it was ready in 30 minutes. There was a screw in my tire but they fixed it. The best part? They didn’t charge me! I couldn’t believe it! I would have gone to them anyway for new tires but now I know these guys are awesome. Very friendly, approachable staff and didn’t make me feel like a moron (even though I probably am). Thanks Kal Tire!

What an awesome place!!! Today I called the Brooksbank branch at 8 am because I urgently needed some pros to look at my left rear tire, as I suspected it being punctured and nothing frightens me quite as much as the air going out completely while driving! I got an appointment for 10:30 am right away. (imaginary sweat dripping from brow — that was lucky). I also asked them to check the spare tire, as that one was rather flat too. 45 min later they pulled out 2 nails from the rear tire, patched it up and fixed a hole on the spare. I was also told that my truck was in a good condition (which is true, just had some work done there). Which means they did check if everything else was fine. When I got the bill I was speechless. NOTHING. FREE. The invoice stated $ 0 charge. Will I consider them in the future??? Hell yeah. Beside that I was impressed with the service, really friendly guys, super professional and a very clean looking garage. Thank you Kal Tire!!!

We started going to Kal Tire a couple of times a year to switch out our winter tires. The service was good, and the hours so convenient, that we now go to them for most of our repairs and maintenance too.
We have had to wait past our scheduled appointment time on a few occasions, but it hasn’t been big a deal.
This past weekend we got a flat tire. My husband scheduled an appointment for 5pm today and had to wait because the mechanics were running behind. When it came time to pay the bill he wasn’t charged a penny!
As a small business owner myself I know that sometimes things come up that can throw off your day. What’s most important is that you acknowledge the inconvenience to the customer, leave them with a positive experience and let them know you appreciate their business.
