PEI is not flush with bakeries nor do people flock to the island thinking about baked goods. However, after you polish off a dozen oysters and a lobster it may be nice to wash it down with a freshly baked pie or a cookie. On that note the Old Village Bakery can certainly deliver. Everything is wonderfully home made and very tasty.
Now, I must say that if you are on the other side of the island, I’m not sure that I woudl tell you to drive all the way here just for the baked goods. However, if you are in the general area you it is definitely worth a stop!
