My favorite donair place in ottawa. I recommend the sweet donair platter with fries. Nice family that runs it. Décor could use a refresh but otherwise great food and very reasonable prices.

My wife and I are constantly on the search for Ottawa’s best pizza deal. Romeo’s, like many pizza joints in town, is a combo kind of place — pizza and something else. In Romeo’s case it is kebabs and falafel. So, I instantly have to question their ability to specialize. And, also like other pizza places in town, they don’t have low pizza price deals, instead they throw in all sorts of things to sweeten the deal. For instance, for $ 22 you get a large pizza, 12 wings and three cans of pop. Or, get the large on its own for $ 16. The pizza was the same as many others I have had in town — a good, chewy crust, tasty sauce (but not enough of it) and gobs of cheese.
