it’s superb customer service such as the above stated example makes me much more appreciative of the family vibe i get over at downtown camera
if you should ever get the chance to read this, that individual (s) you turn down in the future because of your snobbery is the one paying rent for your store to be in business, just some food for thought

This is an uptown location for the Downtown Yonge Street store. However, they are well stocked but you may wish to call ahead to ensure they have the item you are looking for.
Also check their website regularly as they have awesome specials on a regular basis.
They offer friendly and knowledgeable service which can be a joy at times. They do a lot of volume based on their low prices and put the big box FS and BB store to shame where they claim the best prices. I have no need to pay for the big box overhead or deal with staff that has no experience when trying to make a purchase.
I forgot to ask Judy if she shoots Nikon FX or DX but she will be more than happy to look after your photographic needs.

Photography has been a hobby of mine for many years, and I took Photography and later Digital Photography at Ryerson. Constantly needing supply and things developed, my classmates and I would head to the Aden on Yonge St.
A couple years have gone by and I am now taking photos as part of my profession. I jumped the gun before a trip to Central America Last Year and bought a Nikon D90 at FutureShop. After using it for a bit, I decided that the lens wasn’t what I wanted at all and I needed to look into some new options.
I visited this Aden in Pac Mall, and had the best customer service experience. The guy that I spoke to walked me through some options, and when I *thought* I needed things like UV filters etc he talked me out of some, and steered me into more affordable directions. Most importantly he made me feel comfortable asking «stupid» questions.
In the end the lens I bought I love, and I am very happy with. I have not seen a better price anywhere, and i only wish I would have gone to Aden for the body as well.
