Got my order to go. It was soggy and bland. I only live down the street so it didn’t sit long. However, the service was good in the store. And the prices are quite reasonable.

Best sushi in town by far. Seriously, try it out. I recommend the crunch and munch roll and the spicy salmon roll.

The sushi here was absolutely delicious! Excellent service, reasonable prices and everything we ate was fabulous! Will definitely go back for more sushi! We especially liked the vegetable tempura and the sashimi. But really enjoyed everything… Including the green tea!

Sushi was great try the house special. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but the inside is clean and modern. Exceeded my expectations. Definately will return.

The only really positive thing I can say is that their menu is slightly different than other sushi places in Kamloops. Food came out pretty slowly, especially considering the restaurant was almost empty. Service was average, as was the food. Prices slightly higher than equivalent restaurants.

Being a bit sushi fan, I was eager to try Sushi Plus. I was impressed with the variety in the menu and decided to start with a salad and then order a few rolls. The salad was quite good. When the rolls arrived I noticed a thick curly black hair stuck in the rice right on the top of the roll. Disgusting!!! I called the server over and pointed it out. It’s unbelievable that she didn’t see it when she brought it to my table. It stood out like a sore thumb. She did not apologize… only asked if I wanted her to get the chef to remake the roll. I said no and asked for the bill. When I got the bill I could see that they expected me to pay for the roll with the hair stuck in it! I told them I would only pay for the salad although at that point I didn’t feel that I should pay for anything. The staff seemed inexperienced. Not one of them knew what to do. I understand that these things happen… but this hair almost looked like it was placed there on purpose. The service was terrible and the lack of apology won’t have me returning to give them a second chance.

Ate here a number of times while in Kamloops. Consistently well executed sushi. Very fresh and good value. Much better than the other sushi restaurants in the area. P. S. The toro is good here.

Being from Vancouver, I’m skeptical of sushi away from the west coast. this sushi restaurant got some amazing rolls. worth stopping by if you’re driving through HWY1 Kamloops

Sushi Plus removed all my assumptions about sushi joints that are more than 20 miles away from the ocean. This place does not disappoint. The quality of the sushi was fantastic. I had the Dynamite Roll, the California Roll, the Dynamite Hand Roll, and the House Special Roll. All of the items were top notch and left me very satisfied. The only issue for me was the shrimp tail left on the shrimp inside of the Dynamite Roll. When it’s left on and it’s clearly visible in a regular roll, it’s no problem. However when it’s hidden at the bottom of the roll and you take a giant bite, only to have to pull a shrimp tail out, it’s a little disappointing. The décor is nice — very modern with an obvious Asian influence. Bamboo plants provide the perfect way to block your views of other customers stuffing there faces. The serving staff was very friendly and accommodating. Their recommendations proved valuable, and their attentiveness was refreshing. All in all, I give this place 4 stars. It wasn’t the best sushi I’ve ever had, but it was a worthy contender.
