Milo’s seems pretty low key. But judging from my first frequent, it also seems to be pretty good. I recently stopped in with a friend before a grocery trip down to Pete’s. And might I say, this place carries some serious appeal. Besides offering all day breakfasts, Milo’s also provides lunch fare for great prices. Homemade soups for $ 3.75, impressive sandwiches, and well brewed hot beverages to impress. I decided to spice up my life a bit and order a mochaccino. If its used in the title, its got to be good? And although I don’t have too much to compare it to(tea drinker), I found It to be quite scrumptious. My expert java pal reported top notch coffee as well. Sandwich/Panini option looked fresh and plentiful. And with considerably lower prices than Pete’s.(And less of a line) Hmm… I think sandwich lovers should give this place a try. It may just become your secret haven. I’ve only given it 3 stars because its just not a place I have much option for meals.(Regular tea drinker + wheat intolerance, as discussed!) But for the right person, I see some great potential. Food looks fresh and yummy… at very efficient prices. More than enough reason to give it a try.

A mid-afternoon coffee break took me into Milo’s today. A friend and I went to grab some soy bevies: I had a cappuccino and my pal ordered a latte. The two drinks came to about $ 7 and we opted to sit at a little table overlooking Pete’s. It was kind of nice to be able to have a bird’s eye view of the market. The drinks were tasty and the conversation was lovely. Milo’s also serves sammies and lots of snacks and lunch foods. Strangely, you can also get lotto tickets here — why not have a little scratch and win with your java, right? I think this is a good little place to grab a cuppa-joe, especially if you’re at Pete’s getting your groceries.

This place is super conveniently located near Pete’s — perfect for a pick-me-up coffee before some serious grocery shopping. Espresso has been decent here, but I’ve never ventured into food territory. You’ve got Cora’s right next door for when heartier breakfasts are in order, but this place could be good for something on the lighter side.

The lattes at Milo’s are a good reason to stop by this little café located above Pete’s and across from Cucina Moderna. The food looks a little sketchy although I admit, i’ve never tried it. On numerous occasions i’ve walked past and the cooler is sealed up with sandwiches just sitting there from days before. Yummy coffee though! This place also carries newspapers and has the option of purchasing lotto tickets, gum etc.

Three words: ALLDAYBREAKFAST. You can’t go wrong where all-day breakfast is involved. That is one of my favourite things in the world. Just thinking about it brings a smile to my face. So, you can imagine my delight when I found Milo’s. Not only do they serve all-day breakfast, but they also serve lunch. A soup and sandwich combination is only $ 6.99. I think that’s pretty good since most stuff is fairly expensive now-a-days. They also serve panini’s and other lunchtime treats. This place is a cute little kiosk just above Pete’s Frootique in the mall on Dresden Row. It’s got a little seating area around it, so you can enjoy your all-day breakfast when it’s still hot!
