I have been searching high and low for a great stylist in the city that didn’t charge me $ 40 just for a cut. Look if I need wine or coffee, I can go to a bar. I need a good haircut. No need to walk into a salon that looks like it came from heaven just to spend extra time for the «experience». I need a great stylist who knows how to cut and has a ton of experience behind her/​him.
Please welcome John and Topcuts. He is amazing! He has the talent and experience and he is 100% honest. Not to mention his rates are the best I’ve seen in the city. His talent is that of the most expensive salon but without the insane prices. I will keep going to him until my last day in Halifax.

I have been getting my hair cut here for over a decade and John has become a friend. A rare find when a hairdresser knows your hair better than you do. My whole family now goes to John and will continue to do so. Prices are reasonable and I always know I will leave with a great cut and a great laugh. Awesome place!
