Nothing crazy, but it was fine for a breakfast snack and beverage stop. The line moved quickly, the service was good, but I will say their food offering was a little different than I expected. I wanted a regular glazed donut for example and was told they were out/no longer carried, but it turns out they do have it, but they call it a honey glazed. The glazed referred to an old fashioned glazed, whatever that is. In any event, no big deal, just a little odd. I believe they have free wifi.

I did a quick run into this Tim’s today to visit the restroom. I ordered no food, however feel my experience certainly merited a Unilocal! The bathrooms in this store are individual rooms. I enter the ladies, upon my departure I notice there is NO, I repeat NO garbage bin. I think. Oh — I’ll let them know, maybe they forgot to replace it. I let the girl at the counter know, and she then proceeds to point at the garbage next to her. I say. umm…no sorry – there isnt one in the bathroom? She then says… You have to use this one. We aren’t allowed to have garbage bins in the bathrooms… something to do with needles??? I said… loud and clear«Are you kidding me? Its a LADIES room?»…she said. sorry, this is what you have to use. That is absolutely #1 – DISGUSTING&UNSANITARY. So its okay for us ladies to deposit of hygiene refuse in the cooking area of where the food is prepped and served? #2-MORTIFYINGLY EMBARRASSING!!! I am still half considering calling the manager. Of all the restaurants DT this is the first time i have ever heard of such a ludicrous thing? There has got to be another solution? ANd perhaps they should put a notice on the exterior of the door that there is NOGARBAGE in the washroom to save some of us humiliation of turfing our«supplies» in front of a store full of people? COMEON!!! Side Note: I see I am not the first person to have complained about this same issue, hopefully management will see this and make sure its addressed.

I have no idea if the food or the counter service at this Tim’s is any good. I didn’t get that far. I needed to use the restroom first and foremost. No garbage can in the washroom! Ladies, you all will understand why this is a necessity. Washroom was not filthy, but not pleasant either. Then I walked out to line up for my coffee and looked around at the garbage all over the tables and everywhere. Plus there was a huge line. Walked out and won’t be back. Gross. No garbage can? Seriously?

Tim Horton’s is definitely not my favourite place for coffee, but most of the trendier places in the area are not open around 7am. Service is great.

I feel similar to Kirk F. in that Tim Hortons rarely merits more than a 3⁄5. However, my recent lunch experience bumped this one up to a 4 for the following reasons: — super speedy service — Halloween-themed baked goods(helloooo pumpkin spice donut) — very cheap and somewhat healthy combo deals I don’t know if this is a special deal/feature, but I got a chicken wrap loaded with warm chicken breast and made to my specifications, a donut(see above note re: pumpkin spice) and a can of pop for less than $ 4. I’ve had frozen dinners that cost more than that! I didn’t even know such an economical lunch was possible in 2011, so I’ve gotta go for the 4-star rating on this one. Good work Tim Hortons.

I typically give most TH locations three stars. So why does this warrant 4? Well, my typical complaint with most location is that, despite huge demand, the lines are always achingly long. I’ve never one had that experience here. Sure, there have been long lines but they’ve tended to move quickly. Staff are all-business and that sets the tone for most customers.(Hint for my fellow customers: When there are 20 people behind you in line, know what you’re ordering, order it, pay for it, get it and get outta the way.) I do find sometimes their selection limited but that may be because it’s so busy or intentional to help with the efficiency. Now, I’m rarely here during peak hours so maybe it’s not always the case, but I’m usually quite pleased with how fast I get my tea here.
