Lavington Bakery

I have known about this bakery for roughly 20 years. My mother would always buy pizza dough, bread, slices of pizza bread or those Portuguese custard tarts, on her way home from work, from this bakery.
Always fresh and tasty! Their pizza bread is still one of my favourite things to get. Whenever I’m making pizza, I’m sure to get the fresh dough from here (if you want plain white dough, be sure to ask the person at the counter).

Another little gem only known to locals of the area and church!
This bakery really sees the majority of it’s business on Sunday’s after all the masses at the local transfiguration of our lord church.
A great spot for fresh bread and Portuguese pastries (the tarts have been lifesavers when going to visit family or friends on a Sunday!) .
The family that runs it are really friendly and helpful.
If you are a danish (not the people but the dessert… well fine even the people) fan like I am, the Danishes here are A-​mazing (think himym Barney amazing!!!).
Family run, fresh and Local, what more could you ask for from a local bakery!
General tip: cash only and bread buns are like 10cents each… great deal for fresh bread, IMHO!
