To say this was an odd experience might be a bit of an understatement. My friend and I went for pedicures last week. She’s gone here a few times because it’s incredibly close to her work — and the location was very convenient for us this time because we really didn’t want to drive all the way down to Ellerslie to my regular place from the north end.
There are 2 or 3 TV sets, but none of them were turned on. And there was no music. It’s actually really unsettling… nobody was talking. There was just no noise at all. On top of that, there were 3 staff members working on 8 clients! Nobody offers to take your coat… nobody offers you even water to drink. The girls are pretty friendly though and make jokes as they work.
Based on the less than awesome environment, I was not expecting much, so I’m very surprised to say that it was probably one of the best pedicures I’ve ever had!
So… I’ll probably be back… but not if I’m looking for a nice relaxing time.

My daughters, my husband and myself have been going to TD nails for three years and we are always pleased with the quality of the service. We get our pedicures done there every four weeks. TD does my husbands nails as he has had problems with ingrown nails, not any more. Twee has always done my Pedicures, I am always so pleased. I just sit back and relax, she also gives a great leg and foot massage. The ladies are very friendly and we share jokes and lots of laughs while we are there. Their prices are a little less than other places I have visited and the quality is higher. I will continue to recommend their services to friends.
