Then wait was insane when we where sat there was empty tables around us which was insane we had 4 people servicing us and they all had no idea what was going on mum and and her boyfriend ordered the same thing and they came back looking completely different. And then sauce was completely runny and gross. Service getting the food itself also took almost 45 min it was insane. I’ll never eat there again

Sometimes bad food, always mediocre at best. Never great. Service is good though. Been here a few times. Avoid the steak sandwich or wings. The ham is cheap. The«Bavarian sausage» was just a big hot dog. Tomatoes were awful and not palatable. Service seems to be improving.

We ducked in here because our favourite Phở place was closed for the holidays. I always have a hard time choosing when a friend wants to eat at a Ricky’s because the menu is SO extensive. All day breakfast is one of the things that I like about Ricky’s. Steak and eggs is what I had. I asked for it rare. The kitchen didn’t get it right but it was extremely juicy and therefore not a total loss. The scrambled eggs were like someone was making an omelet and tried just chopping it up. Our server saved the whole experience. She was bubbly, friendly and pretty amazing!(and busy) The food for my experiences with Ricky’s are always hit and miss. Sometimes good, sometimes not so good. They seem to be able to hire really good servers at this location. The handful of times I have been here, the service has always been really good.

The breakfast options are weak BUT they have super yummy potato chip fries and good honey mustard!

If I could rate this place a zero I would! Wow such awful service. I was there on a saturday night around 6 pm, it was practically empty. Two other tables other then us. There were two servers from what we could see and we never even saw a manager on the floor. We ordered yam fries and grilled cheese and tomato soup, they were both good but the plate the grilled cheese came out on was dirty. So gross. Oh! And our soup did not come out with our grilled cheese. We already ate half of our meal before the soup even made it out. Clearly the servers were not interested in serving us. They never even asked us how the food was. We will never be back. Ever.

Fast efficient service and delicious food at a reasonable price. The breakfast options are better than most restaurants of a similar nature and the chorizo bennies are amazing. They simply must be tried and I will definitely come back.

I went here for lunch with a friend — it was not good. Service was bad and it was a weekday around 11 am so really there was no one in the place. Expensive. I got nachos and they had barely any toppings(is that not the worst for nachos). The place did not seem that clean… Just over all a bad experience. I have seen some pretty decent breakfast plates come out, but have never tried any. I am just not sure I want to return…

Ricky’s is ok. I wasn’t wowed but I wasn’t horrified either. We checked out the Kingsway location for brunch not long ago, and ordered the vegetarian omellete and a waffle with fruit and whipped cream. The waffle was ok but by itself was a bit lonely. The fruit didn’t really help a lot, since it was more like a thick fruit sauce instead of fresh sliced fruit. The omelette fared better and was decently cheesy. All right coffee, average service. It is what it is.

Ricky’s All Day Grill is not fine dining, but it’s fine dining when you’re dining in good company. My husband and I started going here when first were dating. Now we have another in our party, our wee lassie. The restaurant’s interior is in retro 40’s/50’s décor and is fun to look at while you’re waiting for a table or your order. The food is nothing spectacular, just good. Most of it is probably prepared but if I don’t have to cook it I usually like it. We usually go here for breakfast, which I highly recommend. If you go for breakfast go early as there is always a line, but it moves quickly. This location has an outdoor patio. It’s OK but Kingway Avenue runs right past it and is noisy, but is alright during the evening when traffic isn’t as busy.

This is one place that my dad and I like to come to and catch up with each other over lunch. He’s the one who actually introduced me to this place and ever since then we’ve been coming back to Ricky’s to spend some father-daughter time. The environment is pretty chilled and relaxed so you don’t need to dress up or anything like that. When we go here we usually like to order the calamari; I don’t actually think it’s on the menu but when we asked if they serve it they said they did. It’s been a little while since we’ve been to Ricky’s so I don’t know if they still cook it up. Anyways, like I said before, my dad and I do lunch so if you want advice on what to order for dinner I can’t help you. But what I usually order can be found on the menu and I’m sure you can order it for lunch or dinner. I always get one of the following items: the buffalo chicken wrap is pretty good; when I’m in the mood for some spice this is what I get to satisfy that craving. The turkey club wrap and the classic clubhouse are both really good; no complaints at all with these sandwiches. For the burgers I don’t like beef and the great thing about Ricky’s is that you can choose any burger with the type of meat you want, so you can get your burger with beef, chicken or veggie. They old style bacon ‘n cheddar burger with chicken is my favorite. For dessert I always get the apple crimble and my dad really likes this one too. He’s pretty picky when it comes to his desserts considering he’s pastry chef.

I go here from time to time when I want brunch on a weekend morning. Ricky’s serves a breakfast menu until later in the afternoon and includes a decent selection of omelettes, eggs benedicts, pancakes, waffles, french toast, and other breakfast or brunch items including bacon, sausages, and ham. I usually go for something in the egg family, such as the double egger, with two eggs done any style, hash browns, and toast. A lot of the meals can also be served with three pancakes instead of the toast and hash browns. Their veggie omelette is a mixture of vegetables and herbs, with cheese added for 99 cents extra. The pancakes and waffles are fantastic. Breakfast items really are Ricky’s specialty. I only wish they were available all day long for those times when I need something light and sweet for supper. For those wanting something heavier, Ricky’s also has a fantastic selection of burgers and diner-type meals. I have not yet had any of those meals at this location, but my family often does take-out from the one on 109 street. The roast beef dinner and beef dip is especially good — the meat is very tender and juicy. As an establishment goes, the atmosphere is family-oriented but also has a bar area for adults. Service tends to be speedy and friendly.
