I really like the bakery, deli and produce sections they’re amazing. However I find lots of the grocery products are close or past the expiry date. Would recommend checking your product dates.

I love shopping here. Its always so colourful, decently priced and friendly. There is always something baking that makes the place smell wonderful and everything is easy to find with plenty of variety. They also offer some pretty good deals with Airmiles and in-store coupons, so frugal shoppers be sure to keep a look out for that! The bakery is an experience on its own, if you have a sweet tooth you might be in trouble.

This has quickly become our most frequented grocery store, as it is within walking distance and has also the everything we most often need. We usually walk, unless it’s pouring rain, gale force winds, minus a million, or we need too much stuff to pack into the bottom of the stroller. The produce section is gorgeous. If Kirstin hadn’t taken a picture of the peppers, I would have. That display is awesome. Everything is always well stocked, easy to located, and clearly labelled for price/variety. There is lots of choice for fresh, pre packed, cut, freeze dried… The list goes on. The deli has an equally varied selection. I’ve rarely come across a more extensive cheese department outside of a specialty store. They cheese it organized by type, then flavour, and the people who work the deli have a lot of knowledge about their product. They also have a selection of in store roasted and smoked deli meats that have never failed to disappoint. We use the Montréal smoked meat in poutine all the time, and it is delicious! And the bakery… Oh, the bakery. I e become quite enamoured of the chocolate Avalanche Danishes. They are so good! Everything we’ve had from the bakery department has been great. If you don’t want to be tempted, don’t walk past the bakery case. Everything in there is a chocolate covered, fruit infused delight. The rest of the store is well organized, well stocked, and decently priced. Keep your eyes out for air miles bonus offers, and special bonus deals throughout he store. You can also sign up for emails and load air miles offers directly onto your air miles card. We still shop at multiple stores to get the best deals on certain products that we use the most, but convenience still wins out, and this store does have some great sales and specials. The daily dinner deal at the lunch counter is always good, and if the have broccoli cheese soup when I go in, I will always grab a cup; it’s delicious.

Holy cow is this ever the crème de la crème of Sobey’s! From the beautifully displayed produce(yes, I’m the nerd who posted pictures of the rainbow wave peppers) to the over the top baked goods(think chocolate licorice, chocoate pretzels, chocolate dipped cookies and gourmet cupcakes) to the daily specials in the hot food case including grilled to order sandwiches, this place has got it all! Be sure to check out the M-F Daily Deal from 4−9PM for $ 7.99 features such as a whole chicken, Rack of BBQ ribs, Maple Cured Ham, Hot Pizza, and a 18 piece Maki assortment!(I uploaded a pic of the signage with the details about this offer.) It’s always clean, the staff are friendly, and the shelves, stocked! What more could you ask for?

This is a new Sobey’s that opened by me. Prices do tend to be a bit more expensive than Superstore, but same or a bit cheaper than Safeway. I do find their deli department very nice and clean. They make many fresh things here, so if I ever feel like just picking up something quick, I will go here. They have different specials every day of the week, like ready to go chicken, ribs, sushi etc. Once in a while they will have some awesome sale deals. Recently purchased Silk Almond milk 2 for 1 deal. It’s not a big store, I’d say it’s comparable to the Wal-Mart’s grocery department across the street. But bigger and nicer deli and bakery areas. Overall, a nice addition to the area, never a bad thing when you have different grocery store choices close by.
