I have tried many frozen yogurt places but none of them compare to Menchies. They have several different flavors of froyo and several different toppings to choose from. They once had Nutella flavored frozen yogurt and it was delicious! I love how there are sample cups on the side so you can try the different flavors. Also, Menchies has a reward program. I can’t remember what you have to spend, but you get $ 5 off. If you eat frozen yogurt often, this program would be for you.

When sheer force of will was not enough to get me out of bed for work at 5:30 this morning I finally resorted to promising myself froyo as soon as my shift was done and ended up at Menchies. With fourteen flavors and a pretty impressive selection of toppings I was quite happy with my choice! Alot of folks complain with all these mix it yourself frozen yogurt chains popping up in Edmonton lately that they are all mirror images of each other but there are a couple of things about this place that really stood out for me. First off if your a frozen yogurt addict like myself Menchies offers a free rewards program where when you spend fifty bucks you get five dollars off your next purchase. Secondly they have alot of cute little impulse buy items around the till like pencils, lip balm, and stuffed animals. Finally I have to say the staff member here did a great job of introducing me the first time customer to the Menchies brand. Everything including the price per pound and how to get the machines to mix two flavors together was explained to me by a cheery and enthusiastic young woman who was quite literally a poster child for good customer service. I really hope this new Menchies on Whyte does well with all the competition they have down there and look forward to giving them my business again.

Best frozen yogurt Ive had. A very decent selection of toppings, polite employees, clean environment and machines are always running. New flavours are always rotating. You also get a $$ credit applied to your account with each purchase which works out to a free cup every now and then. Nice! Furthermore, you dont need to ask for sample cups here. Other places hide them away as though the meager teaspoons worth of sample«gold» will send them spiraling into financial ruin. Feh. Menchies just has a better all around outfit and business model. Go! Spoon asap!

I’ve been to plenty of froyo places before but this was my first time at Menchie’s. Just like others, Menchie’s offers a variety of flavours. So far, I’ve tried the coconut and banana bread and they are fantastic. There are also plenty of toppings to choose from such as cheesecake bites(my favourite), oreo pieces, graham crackers, fruit loops, gummy worms, etc. You can also add fruit but their selection is limited. Tip: If you eat froyo often get their Menchie’s reward card. It’s free and once you get 50 points(spend $ 50) you get $ 5.00 off your next purchase.

This new outlet for American froyo chain Menchie’s takes the place of Marble Slab Creamery on Whyte Avenue. Competition will be stiff, as Tutti Frutti is just on the next block. Like the first location on 109 Street, Menchie’s features a variety of flavours of frozen yogurt, and a large selection of toppings — probably the largest selection of all of the froyo places I have visited thus far. In particularly, if you have a sweet tooth the selection of candy toppings can’t be beat. Opened just in time for summer, Menchie’s is sure to get a lot of foot traffic along Whyte.
