At MacTaggart Veterinary Clinic in Edmonton we care for your pet as one of our own. Our new animal hospital is here for the long-​term care of your pet, whether it be puppy or kitten vaccines, annual health exams, senior care, and everything in between.

We understand that a pet is a part of the family, and will strive to keep our «extended family» a happy and healthy one! To achieve this we offer services such as annual wellness examinations, dental care, weight management/​nutrition consults, senior care, and vaccination and deworming protocols that are right for your pet. From bumps, bruises, and upset tummies, to chronic ailments such as kidney disease and diabetes, we look forward to helping our furry little friends feel better after every visit.

History

Established in 2013.

Dr. Travis Foster practiced as a veterinarian at the Riverbend Vet Clinic and decided to open his own clinic in the MacTaggart community, which opened its doors in June 2013.

Business Owner

Dr. Travis Foster (DVM) grew up in rural Saskatchewan, helping his family with the cows, dogs, and cats on the farm. He has 2 cats (Magoo, Peedur) and 2 dogs (Bill, Bubbie), all rescue animals with their own special needs.

Travis began his career as a Veterinarian when he graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. He started working in mixed animal medicine, and after three years decided to focus on small animal medicine as this became his passion.

Travis has been caring for cats and dogs in the Edmonton area for the past 9 years, and looks forward to providing exceptional veterinary care to you and your furry friends.
