Tasty and inexpensive lunch specials($ 8 for a filling vegetarian thali), but nothing to go out of your way for. But the service is prompt and friendly.

While visiting Edmonton and out for a walk I happened upon this fantastic restaurant! I reviewed the menu before entering and knew exactly what I wanted — mango chicken. It was delicious!!! Just the right amount of spice and very flavorful. It was served with a plate of rice and would have been enough food for two meals if I hadn’t been such a pig! :-(The owner was very friendly and attentive to my needs. Pleasing his customers is his top priority. Many businesses can take lessons from his excellent customer service! I will definitely return for more Indian food on my next visit to Edmonton.

Went for lunch today and had the shahi paneer with naan and rice. It was amazing! Nutty and cheesy paneer goodness. Great quality for a great price.

I’ve only ever had the non veg dhali(lunch special), but that is an awesome meal. For one it’s huge. I’ve never even finished ¾ of it before. It also offers a good selection of dishes to try in the same meal. You get Naan, dal, butter chicken, beef something, some kind of yogurt dish, another veg dish, and a desert. Overall, the lunch special is incredible value for your money.

I wish I could eat here every day… It’s not just that the food is amazing, but the service and staff are amazing too. Everyone is so friendly and helpful that eating here has become something so enjoyable that I look forward to getting Indian food here. The owner always greets us and treats us like he hasn’t seen us in forever! It is a truly nice feeling to be acknowledged and appreciated as a customer! It seems as though these days that the value in customer service is lost amongst some restaurants. The truth however, is that if you put effort into good customer service, people will come back! And we do come back all the time! The food is delicious 5⁄5 for sure. As well as this, they are willing to deliver to us(if we don’t come in) in callingwood which is nice of them considering it is about 20 minutes out of the way. Love this place! Would recommend!

Third time there and SO loving this place! The vegetarian lunch combo comes to just over $ 8 with tax and I personally have enough for a snack later and it’s DELICIOUS! The cook is very nice too! Definitely recommend(: I’ve also had the curry chicken which was very good!

Awesome food, great people, very reasonable … A hidden gem. Décor could be improved, but we find it a great place to go for curry and the friendly atmosphere. Similar in style to fast food take out with tables to dine in.

Fantastic food. Great butter chicken and mutton curry, as well as beef samosas. The owner was so cordial and even fried up some fresh pakora for us while we were there. The chai was pretty good too. In sum, very nice food, friendly ownership, made for an awesome lunch.

Can’t get enough of this restaurant. Owner is awesome, food is awesome, service is awesome. Whenever I consider eating out or getting takeout I have a very difficult time getting past not eating here. The samosas are AMAZING and only $ 1.45(i think) each which is a steal for the size of them. You want spicy, he’ll accomodate. You want some more mild, he’ll accomodate. Can’t say enough about this restaurant. LOVEIT! The owner has told me that if your order is large enough he would consider delivering. How’s that for service.

I went to Kurry Kebab a few months ago with a friend. I really like the restaurant, and wanted to go back. Kurry Kebab looks like a fast food establishment. You go up to the counter to order, but the staff calls you when the order is ready. Kurry Kebab has nice modern décor and seems much nicer than most fast food restaurants. The food here mostly East Indian, although they also have a burger on the kids menu, and the food is really good. I went back today with a friend to use a Living Social coupon. We got the spinach, lamb curry which also came with naan bread and saffron rice. The curry was delicious, the lamb meat was nice and tender. I really liked the saffron rice, and the naan bread had the right amount of chewiness to it. The prices are pretty reasonable, with most of the curry dishes being around $ 10-$ 11. For the the two lamb curries, with naan and saffron rice and two bottles of pop it came to $ 28(before my coupon). With all the food you get that seems like a great price. Whenever I’ve come in here it’s been pretty quiet, usually there’s only one or two other people. It’s in a strip mall off Ellerslie Road by 91 Street. It really just looks like another type of fast food restaurant on the outside, but Kurry Kebab is much better than that. You’re not getting gourmet food, but it’s simple, delicious, good portions and a decent price. I already know I’ll be back,
