I’ve driven buy many times and thought of trying it out for lunch. The menu offers a different Hong Kong style of food. There are some Japanese dishs along with the Chinese flavors. It was a bit odd combonations to their menus but did find a few dishes to try. I tried more appies than main dishes. The dishes were not really memorable but did fill the void.

Opened a few years ago, the west end finally got a Chinese coffee house. They used to have a baker that would make pretty good Hong Kong style pastries. Although you don’t see as many sweet pastries, they made up for it with a wider selection of snacks and small meals. They have quite a few noodle dishes and even hot pot if you’re in the mood to get your hot pot on. Although their all star baker’s no longer with them, they do offer other bread dishes(mainly fluffy toast). I had a bubble tea which didn’t kick out any funky flavors but wasn’t bland either. I also tried their curry fish balls which is a good evening snack. Like most Asian café’s, they’ve got some sweet Asian television going on in the background: Super S Trio anyone? I’d love to come back and try more flavors and dishes but their hours are very weird. Unlike most tea places, they close quite early and they are more suited towards the breakfast crowd. Hopefully I’ll have a chance to return and try their ramen.
