I had a couple minutes to kill before meeting someone for dinner and decided to stop in here to see if they carried cinnamon raisin bagels. Stepping inside the first thing I noticed was how wonderful it smelled and how beautifully everything is presented. In the era of big box grocery stores where everybody wants everything for cheap it’s getting harder and harder to find the old fashioned bakery and while Cobs is indeed a chain bakery they do manage to come somewhat close to reproducing that feeling. They have a wonderful selection of breads and pastries but to my dismay there was not a single bagel to be had. Not wanting to leave empty handed though I decided to try a white chocolate and berry scone. Their scones are unbelievable! I can’t remember the last time I purchased a baked good that tasted so fresh and delicious. I was doubly impressed considering the time of the day I had not really expected to find things that looked and tasted like they just came out of the oven. This location seems busy so for the best selection I recommend visiting earlier in the day. You quite possibly might see me there because after today’s experience I can comfortably say they have gained a new regular customer!

I really love the scones! I’ve bought 6 on two separate occasions and they were delicious both times! Fresh and tasted like fresh ingredients were used in the making. It was really busy when I arrived but all customers were attended to quickly!

Good bread and baked goods. The bread is fresh every day and they always donate what they don’t sell to food kitchens and shelters. Big props for that. The service is usually good, but the girl we had today(two hours before closing) obviously didn’t want us to be there. Since this was a one off event, I’m not going to be too fussy about it. If it happens again, I might throw more of a stink.
