Had the pork and also the chicken enchiladas and both very good. Onion rings were great. All sauces were spicy and tasty. Service was good, pleasant. They have added several new items to their menu and all sounded good. They only have 3 items for dessert and all involved chocolate so we passed. More items need to be added for dessert.

Worst food and service ever! The restaurant was empty and the waitress never did come back to see if we wanted more drinks, in fact, I had to go up and get the bill from her as she was too busy cleaning the bar. The food was horrible, and the table side guacamole was blah, the Burritto was so salty, it burned our throats. Definitely not going back to this restaurant!

Went In with family a few days ago. Was seated quickly and server came right away. Which was great service. The food came and it looked amazing. I was pretty hungry so I just dived right in. I would say the food was hot and tasted like heaven. I would recommend this place to friends and family. The restaurant was clean and the servers were tidy and looked presentable.

Went there at about 9:30 at night the place was dead. Host was very friendly. We were seated right near the kitchen, and a mouse ran from the waiter station straight into the kitchen. We told the waitress, she said«well I know we have mouse traps«. Nobody came and apologized to us and no discounts were offered.

After bowling, the Hubba Hubby and I, along with another couple, needed to nourish our bodies so we were looking for a restaurant on the west end. We ended up at Chilis as the first three restaurants we tried all had waits. But there was a lot of availability at Chilis. After pursuing the menu we decided on two for $ 30 promo that they had on which came with an appetizer and two entrees. The artichoke dip was great — cheesy and flavourful. And the chips that came with it were so tasty. But they were so thin that you couldn’t scoop the dip. After finally tracking down our server, he dropped off some cutlery and we were good to go. It was a very long time before the mains came out; too long. And it tasted like thy had been sitting a while. I had fajitas with pork. Unfortunately the pork was super dry and it came with very few toppings. And only three small tortillas. I’m sure I could have requested more, if I could have waved down the waiter. But if he had come, I would have used that opportunity to ask(probably for the third or fourth time) for another glass of water. Overall we were disappointed. The service was slow and inattentive, my main was overcooked and I felt that I didn’t have enough fixings/tortillas to enjoy my fajitas. But happiness was achieved in the appetizer. Enough so that I would go back for it again. There was just something lovely about those chips!

I should of know better when I arrived to a restaurant that was empty at six PM something was wrong, well I should of known better The place was empty most likely because the service was horrible being I had go to the bar to pay my bill as the waitress was too busy gabbing with the so called manager for an hour and not once to return to our table The food was sub par, as burger was greasy and fries were cold. The appetizer I order arrived looked the chef created his own version of the menu item not even close to how it was described in the menu.

My first time at chillis. I’m from Toronto and haven’t seen one around. Came into this Edmonton location on my way back home and had a few carry on luggages with me. They were mind enough to find space for my things while I ate. The food was AMAZING, I added pictures to Unilocal and the service was amazing. Eury was her name. She never once forgot about me and did everythig down to wiping tables with a smile. The restaurant is very clean I might add. Everythig nearly placed and in order for you. Loved it

Went for a family dinner, with seven of us, seated and offered drinks right away. Food was reasonably priced for quality, and came fairly quickly. Our waiter was efficient and very friendly. Overall experience was enjoyable but one of our drinks was very overpriced and the steak in our fajitas was gristly. Quantities were a little low and the hostess could have dressed more appropriately.

I have come to this Chili’s now 3 times in the past 6 months. Both my experiences as a party of 3 warranted 4 stars but my experience this past weekend as a party of 7 to celebrate my birthday was not as good. We were promptly greeted upon arrival and seated at a large booth. They allowed us to order first for the two toddlers in the party which is always good. Trouble is that the rest of us waited an additional 30 minutes to get our food after the toddlers were served. We arrived before 5pm on a Sunday ANC the adults did not receive their entrees until 550PM. By then, the toddlers were done and ready to run amok. The kid meals themselves were not easily handled by the children. The bun on the cheeseburger meal was huge and outnumbered the patty at least by a ratio of 6:1. The chicken strips were oddly enough in what appeared to be a thick need batter that my 5 year old could barely bite through. Side note: kids’ meals here do not come with fruit/cookie/dessert. For appetizers we shared the spinach artichoke dip(yummy) with warmed tortilla chips BUT our plate had what seemed to be the end of a bag with 50% broken so much that we could not put any dip on them. Next, we shared the southwest egg rolls which were a big hit with everyone! They come with a cilantro ranch style dipping sauce. And we also shared the jalapeño cheese bites which came out like warm and not ooey gooey at all — it was as if they sat for 10 minutes before coming to us. And as far as spice goes, I didn’t notice any at all. I’m not sure these would pass the test even if they were piping hot. Finally… Dinner arrives. I have to admit that my steak fajitas were excellent — moist, tender, flavorful BUT the $ 4 add on spicy garlic lime shrimp were a huge disappointment. The shrimp were laid atop the skillet and not even the tiniest bit hot — they were room temp and rubbery :-(Pretty steep to charge $ 4 for rubbery room temp. Shrimp. Also in out party, a 6 oz. sirloin was enjoyed cooked to perfection, ribs, and lettuce wraps. Overall the food was pretty good but it was the service or lack there of for timing that was a complete bust. Ended the meal without dessert because by that time the children were ready to leave. Overall, I’d come back again in a smaller group but it was a bust for my party of 7.

Never been there before. I would just say that it’s just another restaurant chain that does what they do, whatever it is that they do. It’s not bad, not great, just plain franchise regular. The concept is like any other chain(Earls, Red Robins). Some fried stuff, some baked stuff… Some achieve something great, and some other just plainly deliver what they put on their menu. There was nothing fancy about the food: but you gotta like it greasy. Service was good but it’s not really my kind of place. It’s a place to go for dinner and have a beer…

I’ve been to Chili’s once years ago and wasn’t impressed. So a couple of days ago decided to give it another try — horrible, horrible mistake. The wait time was reasonable for Saturday night, and the hostesses were very friendly. It ends there. I noticed that none of the servers smiled, but to each their own. Ours, while somewhat friendly, was really pushy and kept asking us if we wanted anything else just about every time she came. which wasn’t often. She said she had a partner server. who we never met. Ordered the new chorizo sausage soup and it tastes like something you get at Tim Horton’s. Ordered nachos too, which didn’t come out for a loooong time, until we asked and realized she completely forgot to ring it in. I asked for the nachos to go, and — surprise surprise — they were cold when I finally got it. Never going back to any of their chain stores again. C’mon, a Red Robin is right across the street — at least they’ll sing for you if you lie about your birthday.

Wow, where do I begin with Chili’s? I’m not a fan of chain restaurants for good reason — the usual result is tasteless, overpriced food. Chili’s is no different(not surprisingly). The main question is does this place deserve a 1 star or 2? Anyways, came here for lunch with 6 co-workers as one is very picky about food. The good thing about this reviews is that I got free lunch! The rest is just meh. Server was nice enough but she took forever to take our order and wait time for our food was long(aka we were starved by the time food arrived). They have a «special» lunch menu where two people can share an appetizer + 2 entrees($ 25 or $ 30 depending on which dishes you want). I won’t go into what everyone ordered but my co-worker and I had: — Caesar salad appetizer — I wish I had a picture of how little the caesar salad bowl was. It was a BABY bowl that’s supposed to be for 2 people! Like seriously? How cheap can you be? Salad is the easiest thing to make. — I had the chicken fajita(guacamole/mushrooms are extra). Comes with tortilla wraps(you only get 3) and strips of chicken, onions, red peppers. Also includes a side with the sour cream, cheese, diced tomatoes and guacamole if you ordered it. The food wasn’t terrible but if I was to sum it up in one word, it would be bland. — My co-worker had the chicken fingers that came with side of fries and coleslaw. This review is way too long than it needs to be. Just DON’T go! Unless you like bland, uninspiring food, then by all means…

We went with friends to this Chili’s on a Saturday night. Waiting time was acceptable but that was the only fun we had all night. Not being a fan of restaurant chains, we went to enjoy our friends’ company and conversation, not the food. Faint hope. The canned music is so loud that private conversations are quite impossible. That leaves the food as the focus for the evening. The menu looks appetizing but the results are hit-or-miss. I had the chorizo sausage soup that was a sausage-free zone. Great for people with sausage allergies. My wife had chicken enchilada soup that not only lacked chicken but tasted awful. Three of us had chicken fajitas that arrived charred with a small container of tiny tortillas to share. We were assured that the tortillas were bottomless but we felt like Oliver Twist when we asked for more. The hamburger was delivered looked good and it was BIG. Be prepared. The Santa Fe chicken salad also elicited no complaints. I can’t comment on the desserts because we had baked a cake that afternoon and we all had coffee and cake in the peace and quiet of our home. The service is slow, which may be why the fajitas came out charred. The servers guard their territory like junkyard dogs so you can only deal with problems with your particular server. Perhaps service is better on a weekday but I wouldn’t bet on it. Chili’s is run by a generic corporation called Brinker International that seems more interested in selling Franchises and cellphone apps than in improving the food or service. Unlike Arnold, I won’t be back

I went with a friend to Chili’s today and found it an enjoyable experience. We had the southwest egg rolls for appetizer. I had a fresh margarita for a drink, and the fajita trio for the main meal. I also had a chocolate shake(I was hungry!) for dessert. The egg rolls were delicious, the margarita was divine, the fajita trio was hot and plentiful although too salty, and sadly the shake was a let-down. The service was excellent. The music(from Galaxy cable) was perfect for two people who were teens in the 80s. Easy to get to, easy parking, and for the two of us for lots of food with drinks, it came to $ 62.00 before tip. I’d go again. :)

Went to this restaurant yesterday for lunch with my co-workers. Pros: — The hostess & the waitress that brought our food were pretty friendly. — The food was quite delicious(The southwestern egg rolls were absolutely amazing!) Cons: — We waited awhile for our drinks. — Waitress wasn’t very friendly & hardly came by to ask if we’d like refills, etc. All in all, the food was quite good! Regarding the waitress, I’d sum it up to maybe she was having an off day. I’d still go again!

You wouldn’t believe me if I told you how many times I have been to Chili’s. And not because the food here is so great, but because some of my former co-workers considered this place to be the best meeting spot for business lunches. I am sorry to say this, but waiting service at this place is awful. Servers ignore you for as long as possible, and watch on as you slowly starve to death. It takes ages for the food to arrive, and when it does, expect to be disappointed. Some of the things I tried were cheesy tortilla soup, chicken tacos and Southern cedar plank tilapia. The soup was so salty that my throat hurt. The chicken tacos were basic and unspectacular, and I could have made better tacos at home… blindfolded. Tilapia was ok, but rather dry; and even cilantro, lime and garlic topping didn’t help. All the mediocre food at Chili’s is overpriced. I can’t find any legitimate reasons why I should go back.
