My friend and I decided to eat here since we were staying at the hotel. I really like the atmosphere of this place corky pics on the wall the booths; it was nice. The waitress was very friendly and very efficient with and definitely gave service with a smile. :D The breakfast portions were huge! I got their two eggs. It was a good portions and cooked well. A delicious way to start our day. My friend got the Belgian waffles came out looking really yummy. we really enjoyed the meal. We had lunch here as well. Not as impressed with their selections on the lunch menu. I had the chicken souvlaki and it was really yummy! My friend’s hawaiian pizza came out delicious as well. Overall My experience here was super! I would definitely recommend this place for others.

Cool pics of dogs on the walls(smoking a pipe or playing poker) and a neat vibe in the lower bar area. Dark with a big gas fireplace. Didn’t go up to the restaurant but it didn’t look like it had as much character. Service was a little slow when we arrived despite being empty however we were seated somewhat out of sight. Server was friendly and pleasant throughout our stay. Good burger, huge in fact and priced the same as other grills that give you less. Drink refills came promptly. I’d like to come back on a Friday or Saturday night to have a few beers and see what this place is like with a evening crowd.

I was staying at the Travelodge West Edmonton within a mile of this place and was in search of beer, decent food, and maybe some flat screen TV sports to rest my eyes on. This place was a bit dead on a Tuesday night, but met my needs quite nicely. I sampled one of the local Edmonton brews and followed up with some Stella Artois. The jambalaya dish I ordered was especially tasty. The menu describes the dish as «Jumbo tiger prawns, spicy Cajun chicken, and chorizo sausage sauteed with fresh garlic, Spanish red onions and bell peppers. Tossed in a rich New Orleans tomato sauce and poured over [my choice of] penne pasta.» I can understand jambalaya prepared with andouille or linguica sausage, but this unconventional preparation with chorizo was successful. The chorizo oil mixed with the tomato sauce made for a rich, flavorful dish. Although a bit underseasoned(i.e. not spicy enough for my palette), this was quickly remedied with Tabasco available from the bartender. The crowd here seemed to mostly be local regulars and staff from the nearby Days Inn and other hotels/restaurants nearby. Although not the most exciting bar to hang out in, this was a perfect respite from otherwise bland hotel restaurant food at my nearby choice of lodging.
