I came here on a Saturday morning around 9:30am to pick up a breakfast sandwich for the road. Upon arrival, the drive through was pretty busy. I waited in line for a minute or two but noticed the line wasn’t moving, so I decided to reverse out(thankfully no one was behind me) and park to order inside, thinking it would be quicker. I was wrong. Inside, all the tables were full already and the line up to order was almost to the doors. But since I committed to ordering inside, I decided to stay. They staff are pretty efficient at their jobs. They take your order ans ask for your name, which is how they notify you that your order is ready at the counter. I was there for about 20 minutes from standing in line until receiving my order to go. That was way longer than I anticipated. But not their problem, I underestimated the busy-ness of this location!

Veggie burger tasted like it was dipped in cleaning product. Fries were cold, I felt poisoned.

Mondays and Wednesdays are the mornings to be there if you want to take advantage of the seniors breakfast special. If you’re not a senior, you should be aware that the place is pretty darn busy for breakfast on those two weekdays as a result! I generally like A&W’s breakfasts(I also like their root beer later in the day but I’m usually most likely to visit an A&W location for breakfast rather than for most other meals). They use real eggs which is part of the appeal of their food. You can get a rather filling breakfast for a good price which is also good to know and their breakfast potatoes are pretty yummy as well. This location lets in a lot of natural light and there’s a good amount of seating even with many seniors inside. Even on a busy morning there’s ample parking outside.

New«russet cut» A&W fries are disgusting A work-colleague and I often go to this A&W location on Friday for lunch. They have some long-time staff members working during the day that always remember us and that is pretty unusual for a fast-food restaurant. The burgers are always good, I think recently they’ve gotten even better. Nicely toasted bun, delicious burger patty, fresh lettuce, yeah! Unfortunately A&W changed their fries last month to new thick«russet cut» style and they are gross. Soggy, gummy, oily potato fries, they are disgusting. The previous A&W fries used a delightful batter to make unique, crispy, delicious fries. My colleague and I love A&W burgers but we have stopped ordering meal-deals because we don’t want the fries any more. It used to be that A&W had better fries than McDonalds but these new fries are much worse. Hopefully A&W changes back soon. PS: the apple pies are really good if you like dessert.

I have been to this A&W a few times and it’s often not too busy. There’s ample seating and one of the times I went, there were a group of friends meeting for their morning coffee. Another time it was evening, around 8PM and there wasn’t anyone sitting in the restaurant. After we placed our order, we had to wait a little longer than I expected considering there was no one else there. I think they have a drive thru so it could have been there were customers there. The burgers(teen or mozza; haven’t tried any others) at A&W are decent, except when they put too much mustard which I am not a fan. I like their onion rings once in a while but there’s seems to be more batter than onion. Usually, you can find coupons in your mailbox and can enjoy a meal for $ 5 or so.
