I like this store, but it’s not perfect by any stretch. I have good and bad things to say about it.
They have a HUGE variety of food, supplies and pet toys. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get something as basic as Feliway. Sometimes I can in here looking for something specific and despite all the options, I can’t find the one I need.
They have a points card for discounts. Unfortunately, I think they only apply to food and I think services? Anyway the card doesn’t count for everything in the store. And the food is NOT comparable. Even Friskies is pricier here.
I don’t know how I feel about them grooming pets right at the till, instead of in the back from a sanitation standpoint, but since I could see them work for myself, I can say they are gentle and the pets seem at ease.
I brought Spartacus Jones in once after being screwed around by Petsmart, and they took him in right away to clip his nails. Mr. Jones warmed to the staff immediately, and even let one of the girls carry him around while I shopped. They treated him like the sweetie he is and gave him treats for being good.
This place has actually been around for a while, but it was called something else. I only visited it once before the name changed, so I can’t tell you what it was like before. It’s not my favorite pet store in the city, but their service for my cats is beyond reproach. I recommend going in, and deciding for yourself.
