Got my boots re-​heeled and they did a great job. As an added bonus, they were ready sooner than they said and they called to let me know as promised. The owner was clearly proud to show me the good work he had done. Note: they ask for fifty percent deposit up front and accept cash only. Would definitely recommend this place.

Old-​skool shoe repair. This is a good thing.
They seem fixated on skate sharpening (hey, a shoemaker has to make a living), but the boots I brought in for repair were fixed up just fine. These had little ribbon tabs like Blundstones and one had pulled right out of the boot (and the other wasn’t far from doing the same). For $ 22, the nice older man replaced the stupid skinny ribbons with beefy nylon webbing pulls that will actually last and work well, well stitched down so they’ll stay put.
The younger man is also lovely. Father and son? Doesn’t matter. Nice guys and I’d return again, for sure.

I took my figure skates here for sharpening and repair after I heard nice things about this place from people. It didn’t turn out to be false advertisement. The owner did a great job with sharpening. And my other skates had loose rivet, which the owner perfectly screwed back!
This store doesn’t sell accessories and care items. They sell skates — mostly hockey skates -, and decent figure skate brands are found. If you want quality brands I advise you check out Figure Skating Boutique.
This store is big into exchanging. And you can find many used skates. The owner says he reconditions them himself, which I think he does good job at by looking at them as they were all in excellent shapes.
But the specialty of the store is normal shoe repairs. They even dye the shoes.
