O’Regan’s Kia

I had my eye on the 2014 KIA Soul since it was first released. I stumbled across a picture of the car online and thought it was awesome. The redesign for 2014 was quite significant. I wasn’t a fan of the previous iteration of the Soul, especially since I already drove a Nissan Cube (my wife is still a devoted Cube fan but she’s coming around).The more I learned about the car, the more I realized that this new Soul had to be mine!
Interesting sidenote, I hadn’t yet seen the KIA Soul hamster commercials at this point. Now having seen them. kudos KIA, they are my new guilty pleasure.
O’Regan’s KIA Dartmouth is only blocks away from my house. I have driven past it many, many times without thinking twice. Once they had my Soul on the lot. it became a lot more difficult to overlook. I started noticing how nicely the lot was maintained, how shiny and new the KIA cars looked on the lot, the new tigernose signature grills on all the new models. Damn, these cars have come a long way!
One fateful night, my wife and I stopped in to finally check out this car. We were creeping around the lot, but it was late and cold. so we bit the bullet and went inside the showroom. We were both afraid of the classic, schmoozy, sleazy car salesperson scenario, but luckily that never happened. We were greeted by a friendly guy named Derek.
Derek showed us everything we needed to know about the car, pointed out all of the features that are pretty unique to this model. He encouraged us to sit in the front seats and get a feel for the Soul. It was sweet! Our stoke levels were super high. We asked some logistical questions about ending our current lease and about potentially ordering in a model or color that they don’t have in stock. He answered everything and was very knowledgeable.
A few weeks later we were ready to pull the trigger. We worked with Derek, and the general manager Amanda and it was soo easy. We got the car that we wanted for the payment we wanted and there were a few pleasant surprises thrown in as well.
We chose a 2014 KIA Soul SX in white. It’s incredible, I can’t walk away from the car without turning around and admiring it.
At the end of the day, the staff at O’Regan’s KIA Dartmouth are friendly and approachable. The product keeps improving year after year and I feel like I’m in good hands going forward. The folks in the service department seem pretty nice and the sales staff all remember our names when we stop in. RAD
