Not a big fan of junk food. but for some reason always had a thing for KFC! What could go wrong? it’s a trap! Don’t fall for it!
First they tried to scam me by over charging. then it took forever to get it! And guess what! Cold chewy chicken and dry fries .
What a meal!

There are only 2 Taco Bell’s left in the Halifax area… here at Mic Mac Mall and at Halifax Shopping Center. This one is vastly superior to HFX Shop Center location and here is why:
1. It is cheaper… I don’t know why they jacked up the prices at the other location.
2. You get free refills here and they have fountain Dr Pepper. Other location… Nope!
The staff is pretty nice here as well. I can’t comment on the KFC side of things because I have never tried it. Why would you when there is a Taco Bell!

This is my first negative review because the food was just awful (the service and employees were good, it’s mostly the food that’s the problem.) I had the chili cheese burrito. It wasn’t that good, but what turned me off Taco Bell forever was that it actually made me sick, I ran into the washroom not much later and vomited it back up.

Probably the nicest people ever work here. The Indian or Pakistani guy and the lady who appeared to be the manager were nice as can be. I like that dude a lot. Man this hurts… Because the food — and this must be a corporate issue — was NOT good. Meat is not like cross-border Taco Bells. Taco cheese tastes different in a bad way. Warm soggy lettuce. No red sauce on steak burrito supreme. No cheese on it. Not the customary Mexican rice. The chip powdered cheese sauce tasted off and different, in a bad way. No crunch to the hard taco shell. No Fire sauce. They have some buffalo hot sauce, just not even appropriate for Mexican. :-(«Steak» in the burrito was this black liquidy mess. Sigh. Sorry about that but I went to their website. And these people were SO nice… darn.

My guilty pleasure!
Are you trapped in an area and are hungry and not concerned in the least with your own health?
Are you your own person and no one can make you pay more than ten dollars for a pile of deep fried goodness?
KFC is the place for you, and its certainly the place for me (when no one is watching).
There is just something spectacular about the occasional self-poisoning binge, the big crunch combo supplies just the right amount of chicken, lettuce, mayo, bun and of course — crunch; don’t try this one if you’re missing your real teeth.
For those without teeth, consider turning your combo’s fries into a poutine? Theres something that makes this gravy filled pool of fries and cheese into a roman bath house full of pleasure.
However my endorsement of KFC ends at the point where someone even contemplates ordering the «double down».
