Gentle Touch Spa & Laser Centers

I visited Gentle Touch today in hopes of a walk in brow wax because mine had morphed into some wonky caterpillar shape and it was pretty embarrassing! I felt lucky when they told me there would be no problem fitting me in after another appt I had elsewhere. When I came back I was unsure if I could still be seen since it was later than I expected but after scrutinizing and time calculating I was seen right away by Sherrie. I’m not fussy with my brows as long as they still have an arch and don’t require me to use fancy pencils to work them so I have her full permission to do what she wanted and make them look good. And boy, did she ever. She was precise with single hairs and wax placement, obviously very comfortable with her skills. I will, most definitely, be back to see her again to take care of what I stink at doing — maintaining order on my face. The attendant who served me upon arriving was super friendly, chipper and inviting and I felt like they were making an obvious effort to have me served. I really appreciated that. Great job ladies!

I had purchased an online coupon for a microdermabrasion treatment at Gentle Touch in the fall of 2012 and was very excited to use it — I’ve never had microdermabrasion done before but had heard many good things about it.
The lady who booked my appointment was very friendly and professional, so things got off to a good start from there. When I arrived for my appointment, I only had to wait a few minutes until I was escorted into the treatment room. I cannot recall the name of my esthetician, but she was a seasoned professional and it showed. The entire procedure — full face micro plus a calming masque — took about 30 minutes. Micro is an odd sensation but not painful. Application of the masque was very thorough and relaxing.
When it was all said and done, my esthetician told me that Tuesdays are half off micro — naturally, they are kept very busy with this deal! I had a nice chat with the receptionist, who was a very pleasant lady, and left feeling happy with my experience. I may very well be back in the future for another treatment!

Went today for a Manicure & Pedicure. I bought a coupon on line for a cheaper price. Pay 29.00 for 65.00 for Manicure & Pedicure. Pretty awesome deal! I was totally looking forward to the nice foot massage and hand massage, along with the foot filing because it’s been since the summer. WELL, I get there and they tell me it’s an EXPRESS Manicure & Pedicure? ok, so where is this stated on the offer? Hummm it isn’t stated on the coupon. So what does express mean I ask. Well you won’t get a foot massage, no filing of your feet, and no finger soak or massage either. So pretty much clip and dip? Big wooopie. What false advertising. I would NEVER have bought this if I had known it was EXPRESS this should have been stated instead of a HUGE disappointment when you get there. I have one more coupon to use and that will be it for me at Gentle Touch. If you need to lie to your customers to get them in the door I don’t want to be part of that!
