After 25 years in the construction field as a draftsman, CMHC inspector and professional renovator, I felt it was time to use my experience & knowledge in the important field of Home Inspections.

Dale Trach P.

Business Owner

I was born & raised in Dauphin, Manitoba.

Growing up, I was always interested in construction & how homes were «put together.» I took construction drafting in high school & drafted for Manitoba Hydro for 3 years.

In 1979, I moved to British Columbia & completed my diploma in Building Technology (with honors) from B.C.I.T. in 1982.

I became a employee of C.M.H.C. Vancouver in the Technical Services department delivering various federal residential programs such as R.R.A.P., C.H.I.P., C.H.R.P., U.F.F.I., Social Housing, etc.

In 1989, due to CMHC downsizing, I opted for a severance package instead of relocating to Thunder Bay.

I then operated my own residential & small commercial renovation business until 2001.

I became a full-​time Registered Home Inspector (RHI) with CAHPI (BC) in March 2001.
