We decided to try out a new place for date night and almost couldn’t find this place as it was tucked away at the back of the plaza. Looks like a hole in the wall but boy oh boy were we surprised at how good the food was. We ordered the beef trip appetizer, beef hotpot, and sichuan chicken all in medium heat. My favorite of the three would be the beef tripe. Everything was so full of flavor and the two of us went through a tub of rice with it. Recommended **

Don’t expect very friendly service, or to want to sit in the restaurant. But you can expect exceptional food! One of the best Chinese food restaurants we’ve eaten at

Ordered beef salad, sweet and sour pork, lamb and some noodles. So damn good… Last thing, I’m not sure about the actual restaurant. I wouldn’t dine there. I recommend you just take your food to go. It’s not so cozy in there(or clean)…

Probably the Best Szechuan restaurant in metro Van. Their dried deep fried chicken is our all-time favorite! And the Szechuan fried rice is also highly recommended.

If you haven’t been here, you’re missing out! this restaurant is a gem in Coquitlam, I would extend this out to Burnaby even. If you are a fan of spicy food, this is the place. Rich, flavours, steaming hot food, the perfect complement to a cold winter night. this place is definitely hard to find, so google your way first! Tip, you can’t turn in from North road so be sure to map before you go. The food is quite authentic, and it’s a small family run restaurant so service isn’t that great but you don’t expect much from a Chinese restaurant. The food comes quick, and you can finish a meal in a hour or so! There are only about 8 tables so it doesn’t seat too many people, best to try your luck or call ahead! Don’t miss out on this place, pretty damn good.
