Not the best, but not the worst. There aren’t that many HK Café choices in this area.

I don’t think I have high standards, I really don’t. However, one standard I do have is for my food to be cooked. I went to E2 after the nearby sushi restaurant seemed to have a long wait but it was a mistake. It seems the restaurant has completely new staff, and they don’t even know their own menu. There was a large series of confusion we eventually got our order sorted. I had ordered the vegetable beef chow mein with a milk tea while my boyfriend order the pineapple sweet and sour pork with vegetables. Both us were disappointed. The milk tea was good but didn’t make up for what was done to my food. My chow mein arrived. The noodles were half cooked. Meaning half of them were soft, and half were hard. How was such a mistake made? I honestly don’t know. There was a small amount of vegetables in my «vegetable chow mein», a piece of water cress, and three pieces of potato. Which not paying attention when I bit in found to be uncooked. My boyfriend was given one piece of broccoli, and a chopped up celery. We got lucky that meat was cooked but, our server were confused and unhelpful. The only reason this joint is getting two stars is despite the awful food, and service it was very clean(probably due to the lack of customers), the drinks are good, and there is free wi-fi. In the end I would say come here for milk tea just stay far away from the food.

cozy little space. solid 3.5 stars for casual ambience, not typical HK style café but it’s cleaner. Regular favs like the baked pork chop in nice tomato sauce; did find the prices up there, but it’s all relative to chinatown lol. small plaza, tough to find parking. surprisingly, they deliver but 10% pickup, cash only of course.
