I love Airmiles! So naturally, my first choice is Shell. And Shell often has Airmiles bonus events, right now until December they have the 10 airmiles for every purchase over 30 airmiles, which is sweet!
The staff here is friendly and helpful, quick to start the pumps and if there are issues they let you pump first and pay later which is convenient, since it’s hard to predict how much gas you will use otherwise.
It’s a convenient location at the corner of 19^th St. and 16^th Ave., so if you want to avoid the massive buildup to turn left onto 19^th St. when you are heading west on 16^th Ave, it’s a good place to fuel up and then go directly onto 19^th St.
Tip: They refuel the station around 6:30PM, and it fills up ALL of the spots in the center rows, which is a hassle because it’s a little cramped at some of the entrances already.
