When your iPhone 3G goes bazzurk, and it’s time for a new one, who you gonna call? I thought I’d call on my nearest Rogers store, which turned out to be the one in North Hill mall. My experience here was short, but sweet. When I walked in, I was the only customer in the place. Jay, the employee working at that time, was super helpful. I wanted a phone upgrade. He quickly looked up my account to see what I was eligible for. When I told him I was after an upgrade to the iPhone 4G, he typed a couple of more things into his computer and said«I have some good news, and I have some bad news… but the bad news is only slightly bad news.» The good news was that I could get the upgrade(I figured as much being that my phone was almost 3 years old). The bad news, he didn’t have any in stock and wasn’t sure when his next shipment would come in. But, without having to prompt him for further details, he volunteered the info that I could either wait for more phones to come into his location, or check out the Apple store in Chinook or Market Mall. They often carried a much larger stock and had a Rogers rep on site to take care of any contract upgrades, etc. The only thing that would’ve made this a five-star visit was if he would’ve called another Rogers outlet, or even the Apple store for me. Could you imagine my reaction then? Holy toledo. Anyway, great service from Jay at the Rogers store in North Hill mall. Thanks for taking care of me!
