This place(compared to other Cobs around Western Canada and Calgary) is just ok. I find they’re disorganized, make mistakes often(slice bread incorrectly, package breathables in plastic bags so the become too gooey, put the bread out when it’s too hot to be sliced). Also, turnover here seems to be very high compared to other stores. When I can, I’ll just avoid it(even though it’s by my house) and shop at other Cobs where the employees are less PA. The 3 rating is because their bread and baked good are still fantastic.

Great selection and great staff! Everything our family has tried is exceptional and always desiring more. Yes, it’s slightly pricey compared to a Sobeys or Safeway but the end product is so much better and well worth it. The raspberry scones are my favourite but they are always coming out with new flavours to try, so a variety pack is a must for us. The breads and multi grain buns are also very good and a healthy choice, Great owners at this location!

Just before Easter as I was coming home from work, there were a couple of people handing out hot cross buns from Cobs at the Crowfoot c-train station. Who doesn’t love free treats after a hard day at work? Well these hot cross buns were so tasty. All loaded up with raisins and cinnamon. They weren’t like your regular kind. They were better. And in the little sample bag was a card for a free loaf of bread. So a few weeks later I cam in to get my free loaf of bread. I tried the country grain bread. Wow! Was this ever good! Probably the best multi-grain bread I’ve ever had. I think I could have eaten the whole loaf in one sitting. I have to be careful not to overdose on this stuff. One loaf won’t last long with me. Seriously, this bakery make damn good stuff. I’m going back to try some of the other items and I’m confident I won’t be disappointed. The staff was very friendly and helpful too which just makes the whole experience at Cobs top notch.

Who doesn’t love a good bakery? This is your typical busy Cobs Bread with fresh variety and lots of staff working to make the line go quicker. The reason I am writing this review is to get you to try the jalapeño roll($ 6.95 but will feed 2 for a couple of days!) AMAZING! To die for, but save me one!

Love the bread. The Chia Flax and Cape Cod are current favourites.

Cobs bread is kind of awesome. It’s a chain bakery, but they actually make their breads etc fresh each day, and their selection is pretty big. I most commonly buy their scones, croissants, and various loaves of bread. I’d have to recommend the Turkish loaf, it’s airy and soft and works really well as a bread to use as a sponge for dipping into oil and vinegar. The cinnamon, raspberry/white chocolate and chesse/chive scones are really good. The ham and cheese croissant is also awesome. My biggest beef with cobs is the cost. It’s actually super expensive. But if you want to go in there for just a few items, it’s worth it from time to time!

Love COBS bread! You gotta try their Turkish Bread, Capeseed, Rye, Country Grain, Chia… okay try it all! Everything is made fresh each day from scratch(I know this because my husband is a baker). Chocolate scones are a favourite of ours too! Prices are decent, as you are getting a quality product without preservatives. Totally worth it!

I have never been to Cobs Bread, so I wanted to try them out for once. I came there in the morning, it was empty and the door was open, so immediately I smelt the fresh bread. The woman behind the counter greeted me and asked if I needed any help. I told her I had never been there before and needed time to decided what to get. She told me to take my time, there were some samples of their 2go bars, which I happily tried. They had basic selections of bread, white home grain, flax, nothing really unique. The wheat, no sugar added caught my eye. A regular loaf was only $ 3.95 a small loaf was $ 2. 50. I decided on a small loaf, she asked if I wanted it sliced and how thick or thin. They had an assortment of backed goods, cinnamon buns, danishes, scones. I decided to try their strawberry, white chocolate scones, a couple of those cost me about $ 2.50. She bagged my bread and put the scones in a little sealed bag. The bread was really good and very fresh. I wasn’t a fan of the scones, the strawberry stuff made it doughy, I wouldn’t get them again. Since the bread and goods are made fresh everyday, the service was friendly and the prices are so reasonable, I will definitely return to Cobs Bread!

You know what makes me happy? Cobs Bread. That’s what. Cobs Bread reminds me a lot of a bakery in Toronto that I used to frequent. The bread is SO friggin good. You know you’re in the vicinity because all you can smell is fresh baked bread. Once you get inside, there’s big bread, little bread and flavoured bread, OHMY! Any type of bread your brain can muster up, they sell it. And you know what? It’s GOOOOOD! I’m definitely a fan.
