History

Established in 2015.

Blooms on 9^th is a new store but no means new at the floristry industry. With 40 years in the industry and having designed both nationally and internationally in Europe our expertise is varied and extensive.

Our store on 1317 9^th Ave S.E. Calgary in the beautiful Inglewood neighbourhood which is central to the East Village and Downtown.

We look forward to delighting our new Calgary clients with the magic we create.

Business Owner

I have been fortunate to not only been in this industry since 1974 but have loved it every day since.

Most of my career has been in Ontario in the greater Toronto region, and in the past 6 years have had the wonderful opportunity to work and design in the United Kingdom, Las Vegas U.S.A. and Vancouver Island.

And now Calgary. Not many designers have that advantage of both a long career as well as learning the cultural needs and design style of many a far flung place.

Blooms on 9^th Calgary is a collaboration of everything I have learned and experienced in my industry.

When I describe this store I always say, think London or Paris flower market meets soho New York industrial condo meets Palace Versailles and a hint of madness.

Exciting, innovative and always fresh plus affordable is what I wish with this store. I can create beauty in a bud vase.
