I’ve always had coffee here however feel that we need to support Canadian coffee Brewers. I’ve been going to Blenz coffee lately just below Starbucks at Metrotown they also make delicious coffee and have way more seating.
Nevertheless Starbucks makes delicious coffee and has very good service. Despite the tiny little space with only two or three tables near the SkyTrain to Metrotown they work very hard to move that line up forward. Good job guys!

This is really convenient location being right at the skytrain entrance of the mall. Despite having pretty much nowhere to sit, and being the shape of a long narrow hallway, this is a pretty good Starbucks! The staff here are super fast and efficient, which is great as there always seems to be a long line up. They’re also always really friendly and helpful with anything you might need. I’m sure I’ll stop by here again next time I’m at Metrotown.

This review is for the Starbucks inside the Chapters
Parking is available in the nice big mall parking lot.
The seating area seems trendy being inside a bookstore and all, but what this really means is that there are hordes of students during exam season. The entire place was a war zone. We had to edge our way into getting a table. With that said, the tables at this location are the large rectangular type, which would be good for studying, if one doesn’t mind the noise.
The staff seemed overworked too, but they took it all in stride.
The ice coffee I had felt good.

Normally, whenever I am in metrotown, I go to the store in food court, as I will grab other food at the same time. This one is located just right at the exit of skytrain, and entrance of the mall junction. There is always a lineup here in the morning rush hours, and practically no seating and tables due to limited spaces here. They had a renovation about a year ago, and the décor was modernized. The store is a grab and go store basically, so if you want to enjoy a cup of coffee with your friend, try the one in food court, or one at Chapters.
I went to this store only recently, and the experience was good. I ordered an Iced Caramel Macchiato with skimmed milk. It was awesome! And the customer service was friendly. They really tried to bring up conversation with people.
Overall, I liked the store but if only I came from skytrain station, then I would visit the store. If not, I would go for the ones at the food court or at the Chapters. The seating is more comfy !

Contrary to one of the reviews posted this is not located inside Chapters but rather on the top level once you get off the Skytrain station before taking the escalator down. This is a very small location, very limited seating. This is more of a grab and go location to either walk and drink in the mall or have a hot (or cold) beverage in hand on the way home. There is always a long line up, especially in the morning. Due to size and staff this location can be slow, however, they make up for it in customer service. Every time I’ve been here the CS has been beyond awesome. The barista can read my mind :)

One of my favourite Starbucks in Burnaby — inside a Chapter’s! Nothing better to sip the caramel macchiato while flipping thru a book & the magazine rack right across from it.
I like to meet with friends here b/​c of the seating arrangement; doesn’t feel so typical lol.
Lots of seating too, & with the rail guard there, it’s good for the eye candy action coming and going.

Well of course I’m a fan of Starbucks!
I think the best thing about starbucks is that they are always the same… good ol’ same. Drinks always taste the same, snacks always taste the same, sure they get new items now and then. but coffee is always coffee.
I love it when Starbucks has nice big lounging areas. Nice to nap, or study, or both!

I have been to this location a number of times and have sworn to never come back. As someone who works for Starbucks, the customer service provided here is terrible. The baristas at the till seem uninterested and annoyed. I’ve been in there with no customers and it’s always the same way. I have never received my drink order correctly from this Starbucks and neither has my mother. It’s not a complicated order but they manage to screw up my drinks every single time I’m in there. I understand that people make mistakes but 100% of the time is ridiculous. When I tell them the drink isn’t right, it usually takes them another five minutes to make my drink and they don’t even bother to apologize for the mistake/​wait. I prefer to go to the food court Starbucks.

This is a fabulous — and overlooked — location for a quick cuppa on the run, or to sit for a while in a quieter location. With 3 other Starbucks in the mall, this one is much smaller and tucked-​away, and therefore usually doesn’t have a crazy lineup.
It’s the perfect location for commuters to stop in during a transfer at Metrotown station (skytrain or bus loop), which works well with its small size/​little seating and no retail merchandise, e.g. coffee mugs. That being said, on the occasions when I wanted to sit down, I’ve never had trouble finding a free table.
Service has always friendly and efficient, as expected, even during morning rush-​hour which is when I generally stop in.

Love this Starbucks! It is one of the most casual, and quiet ones I have ever been to! I enjoy it a lot!
The seats are spectacular, and not a lot of people come here as it can be dubbed the place to study! They have great seating, and admirable decorations! The best thing about this place are the people working here!
People here are friendly, laid back, and very intimate with customers. The place is tidy and clean, and of course that smell of fresh coffee is in the air. I consider this one of the places where I will be hanging out more often as it is a convient branch located right across from Metro, and because it is very quiet.
