Went to this location yesterday on Father’s Day coz we ordered our food at the Metropolis Food Court and my son saw this Starbucks. He ordered his drink but actually forgot to ask for a cup of water. We asked if we can get a small cup of water to someone(I think she was the barista) who was near a sink and near everything that might have water in it. She told us to go back to the line up and ask of a cup of water. There’s already a long line up and she was already there near a cup and a sink. We ask another person who wasn’t that busy taking orders and she said the same thing. Then I said in a voice that someone could hear me that, «oh this is going to be in Unilocal». Then the girl who wasn’t busy asked the barista to get me a cup of water which she did and as I mentioned earlier the first girlie asked was already there near a cup and a sink… Which where she got out water. Starbucks drinks is already expensive and to someone who already ordered and asking for«just a cup of water» they can’t get out of their way to give a customer a good service??? All this for«just a cup of water». The worst customer service. No star!!!

I want to give mad props to the Starbucks Office Tower location! They are always slammed busy but never look fazed at all! They are all awesome especially blond Tyler and Leia, they are the kindest, most awesome, generous souls I have met in a long time! Starbucks, make good things happen for these amazing Baristas!!!

This is the busiest Starbucks location in the mall. The staff tries to do the best they can, however there is always a wait and good luck finding a place to sit and enjoy your beverage.

This Starbucks is a kiosk in the middle of the Metrotown food court. Service here is alright. During lunch rush and on the weekends, there’s always a huge lineup… so beware! I prefer the Starbucks near the skytrain, but if you’re in the food court looking for your caffeine fix, this location will suffice!

This is one of 3 Starbucks inside Metrotown Mall(apparently there needs to be that many SB for the mall). This is not an individual chain but rather a Kiosk that is situated in the middle of the food court. Out of all 3 of the Starbucks inside the mall I find this one to be the fastest for service. The pastries are limited due to the size of the location, however, all the regular beverages are still made to order as is.

The drinks are good, service was fine, typical Starbucks. What I want to point out is that my husband used his MasterCard here at the Metrotown Starbucks the morning of 6÷26÷12 and then on 7÷3÷12, someone used a fake credit card at the Metrotown Mall’s Apple Store to buy $ 1600 in merchandise. We got a call from our credit card company asking if we had used it that morning — we said no, we’re back in CA. I’m not saying an employee swiped his number, but someone with the know-how, compromised this Starbucks credit card machine or the transmissions for the day and stole his number. They then made a new card and used it. Management may want to look into getting their machines secure. My advise is use cash!!! (Btw, my husband used his credit card at this place only, while we were in Vancouver, so we know the number was stolen at this Starbucks.) Thankfully, our cc company immediately canceled our card and covered the fraudulent charge.

Well… it’s Starbucks. The service is good the frappacinos are awesome and the regular coffee kinda sux. Prices are standard across the board. The place is insanely busy between the regular patrons and the mall staff. Meh if you need a coffee just visit any other place but if you want something made special than you’ll have to rough out the crowds.

One of the most busiest Starbucks I have ever been to. I try to avoid the very busy Starbucks as most of the staff don’t make my drinks the way I want it. This one is located exactually in the middle of the food court at Metro. And is it a very small one too. This one is always packed with tons of employees and the line ups are long and annoying too. This one is so busy they can not pay attention to their other stations except for serving customers. I try to not use this one because it gets too busy.

I ordered a chai tea latte and it was really delicious. I think it’s my favourite Starbucks drink so far. It’s a nice blend of tea, milk, and some spices — it wasn’t too overpowering with the spices — which makes a nice light drink for anytime of the day. However, there were no seats available and I discovered that a lot of the people who sit at this Starbucks don’t leave after they finish their drinks/food –the people with their laptops, smartphones, and books/magazines from Chapters so getting a seat at this location is almost impossible.

Customer service Starbucks Coffee — Metrotown Food Court store — 2÷16÷2011 Good Restaurant or Coffee shop must have good service. It’s the basic required element for any good restaurant or coffee shop; Starbucks is no exception regardless of their size and influence in the business. I do think the general public should pay attention to their service instead of ignoring the matter to avoid embarrassment. Sometime it takes courage to bring the matter up. Anyway when servers behind the counter working very hard and they do the best they can, it’s justify for the line up(like most of McDonald stores.) but if the people working behind the counter don’t care, talking and laughing to each other, in this case, there is good reason you should complain and bring the matter up to their attention, report to their Head Office; Customer service Department. This is the case happened in the Starbucks Food Court store. I bought the matter up with their Customer Service Department HO and the following is their reply to the matter: I hope the situation improve soon. . Thank you for contacting Starbucks Coffee Company. I am truly sorry that you had such a disappointing visit because of the poor customer service. This is obviously not the experience we want you to have at our stores. I want you to know that we take your concerns seriously and that I will share this not only with departments here in our corporate office, but also with the manager and district manager of the store to address this. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to fix something that is wrong. If there are any questions or concerns that I have not been able to address, please don’t hesitate to call us at 80023-LATTE(235‑2883), we are here Monday through Friday from 5:00AM to 6:00PM(PST). Thank you again, Daniella Customer Relations Representative Starbucks Coffee Company

This is the Metrotown location which is built into the Chapters and is nice and spacey to sit in with a friend. It’s always busy, but I like to sit in the right corner where the comfy chairs are! Plus there is a great Chinese bakery right out side the exit out of Chapters into the mall.

Okay Starbucks rocks. Pricey but good. Love the toffee nut lattes & the layered caramel frapps But what I don’t like is the staff. Most are pretty judgmental with their looks and attitudes, they act like Hollywood North. I have been chastised by them by asking for a glass of ice water after I ordered my coffee. Whoa, I am a bad little girl. I pay your wages, watch out little girl or boy. I find my experience at Starbucks, although I love the products totally depends on who made my coffee and that is sad. If someone knows what they are doing it is reflected in their skill and hence my coffee. Unfortunately I tend to always get the ones who don’t know what the hell they are doing. I purchased a 500 $ express machine and my lattes are better, no kidding. But, I do like Starbucks merchandise, I buy all the cups and products. Wish the staff were better.
