Great price. Great homemade food. Super friendly owners. Whereas most under $ 10 restaurants won’t bother giving you enough veggies, you will get a full serving here. Excellent hole in the wall place for the everyday meal.

Saturday and made a last minute call on this place based on past reviews on Unilocal! Some photos if seen before are gone now… Anyway, got there around 6:30pm, place is empty. It is a hole in the wall type place with about 6 tables. The son served us. Tea(tasted nice) poured for us, orders taken. Food 2 hot pots came out in about 10 mins or so. Actually they were large metal type bowls with the food in them. This was not the raw sliced food, cook it yourself type hot pot. Food was tasty and well priced. The place was clean and generally tidy. It’s mum and pop run type of place. While we eat, the son sat at a table eating his dinner and playing DJ on the radio — switching between stations. Overall, 2 meals for a total of 20 bucks in tip. No complaints!

Came here for dinner with my mom and sister because they advertised their personal hot pot so well! The portions are very generous for the price and the food is quite decent. The quality is alright as it was nothing exceptional and neither was it awful. Good for a quiet weeknight dinner.

The food here is quite good especially since it seems like a hole in the wall type place. The hot pots is what you are going for. They offer great value and is a place I have come to again and again.

Truly a great hole in the wall place serving up individual hotpots. Mix matched tables n chairs and cloths dividing the kitchen n dining room, but don’t let that deceive you otherwise you’ll miss out on this great little joint. The menus don’t have much structure, but you’ll figure it out. It’s pretty much choice of meat, noodles, and broth or their special udon hotpot. I ended up getting the«BBQ Pork Homemade Udon Broth Hotpot.» Wow, I loved it! I was a little confused about the homemade part and was assuming it was the udon that were homemade. The cuts were soooo perfect which lead me to think otherwise, yet the texture of the noodles seemed homemade. I’m still baffled by this. I was really surprised how good the broth and noodles were. I really enjoyed eating here and would love to come back again soon, though unfortunately I’m not in the area much. For $ 7 bucks or so, this place is very satisfying.

Hot pot hole-in-the-wall! It’s in a strip mall beside the Buy Low. This is indivual hotpot, not the communal one. Fantastic value for $ 8 — you get a choice of proteins(chicken, beef, pork, fish, tofu) pick your soup base(I recommend the miso) and either rice or noodles(instant noodles, unfortauntely). You could also get an udon hotpot for a little less. The homemade broth is the herbal Chinese goji berry one. Bare bones furnishing, family run with their teenage son taking our orders :)
