Update: One of this location’s employees named Stanley C. just message me on Unilocal and said «clearly craftsman collision is a collision body shop, not a mechanic shop». The reason why we bring our cars to you is so that you can fix it. If you can’t then you shouldn’t have accepted it then. Our van door was completely functional even with the massive dent on it. The moment we got it back from you, it was no longer functional. Explain that.
I’m truly disappointed with this place. We brought our van here after it got into an accident — thinking this was a reputable company and that they’d do a great job… apparently not! After «fixing» the damaged sliding door, it looked like it was having a hard time opening and closing. We brought it back to have them fix it and they said that we need to bring it to Toyota to prove that the faulty door is accident related. As opposed to what?! That was the door you supposedly fixed, Craftsman Collision. You ought to be ashamed of yourself. Don’t go here… ever.

Some idiot tried to steal my spoiler off the back of my car overnight a few weeks ago — I’m guessing they thought it was an aftermarket piece and tried to pry it off with their bare hands. I know this because there weren’t any scratch marks or dents as there would be if they used some kind of tool. They managed to break off about ¹⁄₃ of my spoiler and made my car look like crap.
I have used this Craftsman Collision before when I had someone break into my car by smashing the windows on my old beamer and they did a good job. Doug is really helpful and he’s good about following up.
They fixed my spoiler within 2 days and because they open really early I was able to pick it up before work which is so much more convenient for me than having to figure out my schedule around store hours. I even had time to drop my girlfriend off after the pick up too.
They did a great job with my spoiler, a little glue residue left under the spoiler but other than that they did a damn good wash on my car (it desperately needed it). They also cleaned out the inside of my car too which was very much appreciated.
Every time you get your car repaired with them they give you one of those reusable craftsman bags with a notepad and a mini ice scraper. I would highly recommend this Craftsman to anyone who has as much bad luck as I do when it comes to their car lol

Summary: Great comprehensive customer service, hassle free courtesy car, great cosmetic repair on my car. Would recommend to friends & family in the Burnaby area.
Long story: I had fairly minor damage to the front bumper, fender & light area of my car, and this being my first auto accident & claim through ICBC, I honestly didn’t know what to expect. Doug & the team made the whole process super easy and as pleasant as possible. I was offered a very nice (brand new, still had the new car smell!) courtesy car on the scheduled drop off day and was able to keep it, hassle-​free, until the repairs were done.
Craftsman contacted me as soon as my car was ready and I was able to schedule a pick up next day. The wonderful lady there that day walked me out to my car, explained in detail all of things that had been replaced, repainted, reshaped, etc and gave me a clear printout of all of the items on the repair bill. The car (interior and exterior) had also been nicely detailed. The repair was excellent — my poor car looked brand new again! I’m especially impressed that they had gone to the trouble of blending the clear coat onto the front door as to not make the brand new fender seem out of place. When I got into my car there was even a nice little thank you package waiting for me — air pressure meter pen, tiny flash light, windshield scraper, etc. I’m definitely impressed with the level of customer service here and will definitely recommend this place to anyone in area.

I dont know if they are under new managment but my recent experience with Craftsman collison was great. Nav and Doug took very good care of me and my car. I had my window broken on my car and items stolen, I went to speedy glass on Imperial and unfortunatly because there was body and interior damage i needed to take it to a body shop. Mike at speedy glass reccomended Craftsman (instead of one of the other 5 shops in the area). I went in and the first thing i heard was an elderly man commenting on well they treated him and how happy he was, also commenting on how he appreciated the discount. I was quickly acknowledged even though the attendant was busy with this elderly customer.
I spoke to Nav the manager, he was very nice and pleasent. he explained everything they were going to do to fix my car, and told me what was owed at the end (deductible). He said it would be done next day (friday) as long as the dealership had the parts in stock. He then offerd me a courtosy car, something I have never been offered from a body shop. They usually make you rent one, or your added insurance pays for it. I was very happy to get this, the last thing you want to do is rent a car after yours has been broken into.
The next day Nav called to say my car is ready, but he wants his guys to detail it so it would be ready on monday morning, and I could keep the courtosy car over the weekend.
I came in late monday, my car was sitting in their bay cleaned and deatiled, just like I had just taken it to a detail shop. I then picked my car up through Doug, who explained everything they did, explained the paint and commented on they remove all the trim before paining to get a semaless paint job, no tape. Again, something that other shops have told me they dont do (b/​c ICBC doesnt pay them for that).
They did a fantastic job on the repair and it was a painless process. The staff was very nice and explained everything, the courtosy car was a nice bonus. Thank you Craftsman collision for making the best out of bad situation.

This location is a big joke and I highly advise everyone not to bring your car to this Craftman collision at all cost! When I picked up my car from this Craftman collision on Imperial Ave I saw my car had thousands of paint drops on the rear trunk and bumpers and it’s not the end of the story, yet. Then, I opened the trunk and it was all wet. I spoke to the manager and I asked him about the poor paint job and he told me that your car isn’t a show car so it should be okay and he said that it’s not very noticable. It was like a pond inside the trunk so it looks they left it outside the rain before and after the collision repair.
A few days later, inside my trunk, it was still wet and it looks like they didn’t fix my trunk properly and I called the manager and the manager told me that I have to pay more money to fix it. They said that they don’t have the time to fix small matters like what I’m experiencing. I told him that it’s a MAJOR problem because there’s a major leak somewhere in the trunk of my car. The manager of Craftman collision told me that I should tell ICBC to send another 500 dollars or pay it with my own money. I should let you know that ICBC refuse to add more money for the repair bill and they told me that Craftman Collision should do the investigation of the poor repair.
The problem was never fixed. The trunk still leaked. I sold the car and with bad paint job which Craftman Collision refused to fix.
There are so many better places to fix your car than at Craftman Collision and the Imperial location has to be the worst location.
