Best mechanic ever. Super friendly team, trustworthy, and extremely fair.

I was recommended here by a friend who’s a regular. I needed my coilovers installed on my car and aligned as well. It took pretty much the whole day as it took time to do the work and also there was a line of cars but overall i enjoyed the service.
The plus side is that they have a nice comfy couch with netflix on the tube. I would definitely recommend Alpha 1 if you need work done to your car.

Came here to get some suspension work done, on the recommendation of a friend.
Parking is available in front of the building, but this can fill up.
The owner/​manager Danny (super chill and easy going guy) took care of me from the beginning. Usually I’m a bit edgy about trusting shops (including dealerships) as they’ve messed things up in my car before, but Danny was open when I mentioned the model-​specific quirks for repairing my suspension. The other guys in the shop are easy going and friendly as well. I was able to guide them through the repair as the critical «quirky» parts of the procedures came up, and they were receptive. Very special mention for this, as most shops often have the «I know more than you do» attitude, followed by the «oh, I didn’t know this repair for your car is different from other models, think I broke something» garbage.
The entire shop is quite easy going, and there are cars going into and out of this place all the time. As a result, the work may take a bit longer, as the crew are switching back and forth between vehicles. But they have a nice lounge with Netflix, which kept me entertained. I also saw them offer other customers a lift to somewhere nearby such as Metropolis so they wouldn’t be stuck at the shop for a few hours.
During my repair, Danny even pointed out some failed components I didn’t even know had broken. A quick call to the dealer to order parts, and I was back the next day. This repair took a while, but the shop was busy that day and I knew they were squeezing me in as a courtesy. No complaints.
When the alignment was slightly off (common if the suspension isn’t fully settled) after I picked up the car, Danny took the car right back in, no questions asked. He even took me around for a test drive so he could see the problem for himself.
The price for replacing 4 controls arms, inner tie rod, and subsequent 4-​wheel alignment (s) came to under $ 300 — almost too low, to be honest. Let’s see the dealer do this work for under $ 1000.
My suspension is now buttery smooth, and this shop has earned itself a loyal customer. Highly recommended.

I recently took my car here to get the breaks checked. It was recommended to me an autobody shop that i trust. I found them to be friendly and pretty fair re: price.
The service was fast and my breaks are working great
They didn’t have a courtesy car for me so they dropped and picked me up at Metrotown so I didn’t have to wait 2 hrs in the shop. I’m not sure if they have courtesy cars or not. Make sure you ask, especially if you think your issue may take more than an hour or two.
I will definitely go back if I have any other issues and would recommend them to friends and family.

Starter failed in my Honda Civic. Service manager Danny came to my condo’s parking lot for inspection and estimate. Followed up with tow. Got my car back next morning for about $ 300. Simple trustworthy service.
