We were in Brugge during mid-​April and it was chilly night (give me a break, I’m from Miami). We noticed that Den Heerd, the restaurant at our hotel was open and decided to dine there. We arrived in the midst of dinner rush, but luckily were able to get one of the few empty tables in the restaurant. The brought out some bread to snack on while we decided on our dinner. I wish I could provide more detail on our dinner, but it’s been quite some time since I was there! I ordered a steak, which came with chips, and was cooked to my liking. I don’t recall what I had for dessert but I know I really enjoyed it because I ate the whole thing!
Den Heerd was a vibrant and bustling restaurant hidden in the beautiful courtyard of the otherwise unassuming Hotel Montanus. We really enjoyed our meal here and it was an overall pleasant dining experience.
