Worst ‘Argentinian’ if one can call it that. It was a perfect lesson in how to ruins good piece of beef. Furthermore, bad French fries. The salad was for rabbits. All in all a big disappointment and I’m not going to recommend it to anyone. One star for cleaning up the dishes…

Meat was average. Overpriced and under-salted. Our waiter was extremely rude, so much so that we left the place without leaving a tip, which we never do. There isn’t much around central station that isn’t touristy and stays open late but don’t come here for a late-night dinner.

Ah, the communist-themed Argentinian steakhouse! On 8pm Tuesday night, the area around Antwerp City Hall is pretty much dead. After leaving an event there, we stumbled through the snow, looking for a great celebration dinner for our group of twelve. It looked so promising, as I’m a sucker for all wood furniture and floors. Che Guevara banners were draped above the entrance. We climbed two flights of stairs and had a dining balcony all to ourselves. We felt like such ballers! The menu was in four languages, and the workers spoke enough English to serve us without error. Too bad they can’t actually cook without error. The mixed grill options looked promising. For 17 Euro, it included small portions of sausage, steak, a lamb chop, and chicken. The chicken was the only passable item, whereas the rest of my meal tasted like no effort was put in whatsoever. Merely salt, pepper, and fire were introduced to this carne, which made for a boring meal. Part of me wonders if I should have tried the seafood. Then again, those who did were mighty sick later that night. A friend and I were merely just queasy. Suspicious.
