We had the sweet and sour chicken and the fried noodles with chicken– both were delicious! Service was a bit slow but the food was great. Location in the china town area was interesting to see. We also had the fried ice cream which was a bit too doughy– besides that, I recommend DK!

The restaurant seems like a family business. First time to try and brought guests based on the Unilocal rating. The women running at front gave us very poor service. My American friends commented «she is mean» at end of the dinner. I have to choose one star even they deserve none. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone.

No time for elaborate reviews now, but a good friend introduced me to this restaurant. It’s one of my favorites now. I tend to drop by twice a week, they never fail to deliver. Nuff said.

I read all the good reviews and had to try it! Menu was in English so that was nice so I actually knew what I was ordering.
For appetizer I got the steamed bread with chicken. It was the first time I had something like that and I definitely want to try it again… SOON! It was a soft and fluffy sweet bread with a sort of chicken dumpling filling in the middle. It came with three so it’s good to split before dinner without getting full.
I ordered the hot duck pot and it came with white rice. It was warm and tender in this really good duck sauce/​glaze. Duck is very fatty because they cook it in the skin but even after peeling off the skin there was still a lot of meat! My parents got the fried rice with chicken. The rice wasn’t fried like in the US turning brown with the pork. It was still white and had chicken, egg, and peas in it. A little bit greasy (considering it’s fried), but very tasty!

DK hands down is one of the best chinese restaurants in Antwerp. Apparently it’s traditional Hong Kong cuisine.
Everything on their menu is delicious, you can’t go wrong really.
Highly recommend you to go there if you’re craving chinese!

If you are looking for the hottest, most hip, stellar latest architecture, situated in the coolest neighborhood Chinese restaurant, please stop reading now… If however you are looking for the best authentic Chinese restaurant in Antwerp, you are right on target … Being an amazing lucky person that has a born and bred Chinese friend whose mother used to own the only Michelin star Chinese restaurant in Belgium, her advice in ordering dishes always prove to be incredible! Be certain to seek the ins and outs of this kitchen as the best dishes are not always mentioned on the menu.
