Great food selection, kitchen special of pulled pork and poached eggs was tasty but not overwhelming! Coffee was great, strong not bitter! Just needed quicker counter taking orders, long queue!

Update: This place got even better on my second visit. The breakfast burrito was so tasty, crammed with egg, bacon, mushroom, cheese etc. I then got a cronut(again) for takeaway, and they put nutella AND salted caramel in the one cronut. Heaven.

I’ve been to tracks twice. Both times I had such fantastic experiences. Both meals have been amazing and the coffees have been outstanding. On my last visit I had the poached eggs and corn fritters which were amazing and well cooked. They were full of flavour and absolutely surpassed expectations. Importantly for me the coffee was amazing ! I had the coolest surprise when when it came out as a bear ! Take a look in the pictures; it really made my morning !

Haven’t eaten here only popped in for takeaway coffees. The staff are always delightful and pretty quick too. Menu definitely looks worth checking out.

Tracks is on the new«cool» side of the West Leedy tracks(down the road from Hylin), and I recently visited with my friend L for a sticky beak at the fresh café. Although the spot was super busy we managed to score a table in the«garden» area on our visit(get in early if you’re wanting to check it out), and the café is small, but just so beautiful. I love the minimalistic interior design and quirky additions to the space. Although the menu is pretty limited there are a few stand out, and hipster approved options. I went with the Mushroom, Poached Eggs and Red Chilli on toast. I also added salmon on the side(they’re cool like that). One pet peeve — the eggs were not soft poached! I had one sad blob of goo ooze out while my friend L had completely hard poached eggs. Devastating, it’s all about the goo guys! It may have been because they were so busy, so I’ll totally be giving them another go, and you should too! Eggs aside the dish was very fresh and tasty. Plump mushrooms, a dash of balsamic to bring it all together. Mmm. You also have to try their signature Gingerbread Latte… Amazing!

Tracks is another place that has been on my ‘Visit List’ of cafes/restaurant here in Perth for quite some time! Ms.D’s Smashed avocado dish($ 17) was a visually appealing dish which was fresh in colour and a fairly good presentation. The tomato concasse could be described as a well seasoned and tasty salsa and was delicious. Matched with the tangy smashed avocado and perfectly poached eggs, it created a well balanced dish. The asparagus was a nice addition to the dish but didn’t make or break it. Personally, I love seasoned asparagus on a dish! I ordered the Roasted pumpkin, danish feta, roast pumpkin, spinach and poached eggs on toast($ 17) I am sometimes a little apprehensive about ordering a dish that has roasted pumpkin but after seeing one go by, I thought I would enjoy this. The roasted pumpkin was heavenly! The spinach was plentiful and combined with feta cheese complimented each element. There were also two perfectly poached eggs resting on top, Tracks are great egg poachers. The dish was garnished with the usual green and that was the only thing I left on the plate. This dish was so tasty, I wanted more even though I was full.

A few months ago had breakfast at this café — to support my friend the head chef(Brenden). That day the pork belly with potatoes, peppers and pesto was the special of the day and because I don’t eat eggs he kindly replaced them with ciabatta bread. Must go back and try out the many other options this place has to offer — oh and the coffee is good too :)

Lovely little place for weekend breakfast /brunch or to grab a coffee during the week. Service was great with energetic and friendly staff. Food was tasty and fresh without a long wait. Coffee was surprising good, I’m rather fussy.

Stopped here in between house hunting for lunch and they do all day breakfast on Saturdays! Hubby had the full breakfast with coffee and I had the poached eggs with tomatoes bocconcini pesto rocket and toast with a banana honey smooth. All were delicious! The staff were very friendly and the food served quickly. Only minor thing was that our poached eggs were slightly over cooked but would definitely go back!

Quite some time ago I made the mistake of thinking I was 18 and could drink my weight in cheap red wine and coke and replacing dinner with a slice of pizza at 5 am. But see, this isn’t Spain and I’m not that young and I felt it that morning when I woke up on my friends couch, cuddling a pile of dirty washing and a doing the downward dog, unintentionally. That was the morning we ended up at Tracks. In my lost state I ordered Smashed Avo(every.single.time) and a bucket of coffee. In fact, I paid for two coffees and only got one.(this was then resolved when I msg’d them over facebook and they were more than happy to retrn the misplaced coffee and offer me the world aka a delicious treat) Smashed avo was good, coffee was delicious and it appeared that they paid close attention to presentation. Interior is so pretty and bright. Perfect place to park your little backside with a book or a laptop or a friend(if you have one of those) and chill out for a little. Convenienet location with parking and overall great people working behind the bar. Food was pretty speedy, packed with flavour and generous. I honestly cant remember what it tasted like but I kept going back since then for more coffee and treats so I’m thinking it was great! Also their attitude toward customers is on point, so give this place a shot and you will not be disappointed.

Cajun chicken burger was just so delicious, it has that slight char-grill taste accompanied by the refreshing sauce. Service was excellent as well. Most meals starts from $ 15.50 onwards. I have tried their prawn & chilli tagliolini pasta. This was alright, portion wise — just enough. I will definitely go back to try their other dishes. Update: Recently went to Track for lunch this week(17/08/2015). They told me that they’ve changed their menu two week prior. Oh nooo… the Cajun chick burger is no longer on the list!!! Looking at the list, the cheapest meal starts from $ 18.50(big hike from a month ago.). I tried the pasta with 3 meat ragu. Meal was alright, portion was below satisfaction. Overall: For the price, I’ve expected more.

I stopped for a quick bite with the 10year-old. It was 11am. The café is quite nice for a foyer type shop. Only about 50% capacity, so getting a table was easy. Choosing something to eat for a quick bit was easy as the selection was small. Ham and cheese croissant for the boy with an iced coffee. My dilemma was the size difference between a regular coffee or a mug. The regular coffee cup is small but the mug looks like a ten gallon bucket. I had to settle on a bucket because I knew the thumberlina sized cup was going to leave me wanting more. I had the Reuben bagel. The bagel was delicious. Flavour plus! The coffee really nice. The boy rated the croissant as he rates all his ham and cheese eats, out of 5… This one got a 4 because it had a bit too much flavour. the ice coffee was not sweet at all so it got 3 sips taken, a grimace from the 10 year old and a resounding yuck! He’s 10 what can you do but wait for his taste buds to sprout! I would definitely return for a quiet coffee or meal by myself sometime. It’s a lovely little café!

Very nice range of brunch and lunch options, catering to those who like hearty serves of «healthy style» food. My poached eggs with avo smash, salsa and asparagus looked beautiful but needed a bit more seasoning, the burger was ginormous and got a rave review from my son, but the chips were slightly underdone and too greasy. Coffee is done well, including the bulletproof butter option, which I tried but didn’t particularly enjoy. I’d rather indulge myself with butter in my eggs than in my drink! The animated baby chino is the cutest in town.

This place only opened up today, I went in for a sticky beak to see what it was like, the food options and check out the vibe. There were a lot of pool dining in and the décor/vibe of the place seems cool and funky. I ordered a coffee $ 3.50 which is a good price for Perth, the coffee tasted quite nice and if I didn’t have my lunch at work I would have bought something the food looked delish! The staff were friendly as well which is a good sign. This is a short but sweet review so next time I will dine in here to test out their food and see what it’s like to dine in! :)
