These guys do your standard ‘nice’ floral arrangements. There’s nothing too flashy about them, it’s stock standard kind of stuff. If you want a bouquet of native flowers, you can have it. Roses are easy. Best Florist is good at bouquets that aren’t conversational pieces but work well as your«I’m sorry I’ve been a chump lately» apology flowers, or your«I hope you get better soon» type of bloom. The staff are helpful and are nifty with wrapping paper and ribbon. I feel that’s what a lot of florists are best at. Wrapping flowers in sheets of paper. If you ask me, you could bunch any sort of flowers together and it would look just fine. It just looks better with fancy packaging and a pretty ribbon. Just like how dogs look cuter wearing scarfs, and girls wearing headbands always look better than their bareheaded counterparts. Best Florists is a good place to go if you’re looking for some fresh flowers for the loungeroom or for a gift that expresses two word sentiments: «I’m sorry», «Get Well», «Happy Anniversary».

This store makes a pretty big claim with that name. I’m not sure it is in fact the best florist, but it is a nice one. The décor leaves a little to be desired, but the requisite buckets of colourful flowers and many arrangements are present. Personally, I wasn’t too fond of their arrangements myself, but flowers are flowers and here they are in abundance.

With a name like BESTFLORIST how can you argue otherwise? I have been the lucky recipient of their bouquets for a couple of years and can attest to their good-looking blooms. They have a large selection of flowers to suit any occasion and the staff are knowledgeable and super friendly. Oh-so-conveniently located near the 199 bus stop It’s perfect for picking up those Impromptu dates stems or apology bouquets.
