Tracy c has said it all. Pretty good pool. Not massive like Joondalup arena but enough facilities especially if you are a local!

This place is over 3 years old and I went there for the first time the other night. Plenty of parking, they have an 8 lane indoor 25m lap pool, wading pool, an outdoor pool, fully equipped gym and floor exercise area. The lap pool can get busy but you can simply ring up and enquire the best times to attend when it’s not busy. Usually after 6pm it starts to quieten down.

Wanneroo Aquamotion has all the key features of a public swimming pool. It was refurbished in 2009. Besides the pool it also has a gym, group fitness classes, large outdoor grassed area and a crèche available in the mornings. There is the 25m lap pool area, with about 10 lanes. The leisure pool with a depth of 0.2 to 0.8 metres for the little ones. Outside is also has a large outdoor deep pool that goes to 1.8 metres. All the pools are heated to 28C, which means you can comfortably swim all year round. Aquamotion also has a sauna, a spa and a hydrotherapy pool with wheelchair access. This, like all public pools in Perth have the problem that most afternoons after school and on all school holidays the place is taken over with school kids and their swimming lessons. This normally leaves a couple of lap lanes, which are full already. If you want to do laps, I suggest you call ahead and find out if they have classes or try to go around lunchtime, when it seems to be free.
